Where are the usual negative posters tonight?

Thems the rules on here aren't they? Clap like seals when we fuck up badly and PH make all mighty fuck up, but then when we do well we can rightly priase them for it (and PH too). So only constant praise allowed then no matter what we see in front of our eyes...?

Actually fuck that. If it's crap I'll criticise. If its good, I'll praise. As pathetic as it was on Saturday (and they rightly got a huge fuck off from the fans), they deserve a big praise for all for tonight. That how I roll.

Love it..❤️…hypocrisy at its best

No one is saying you can’t give an opinion on performances and call it shit if it’s shit.

It’s the way over the top, toys out the pram stuff that is just not necessary. On Saturday we were still 4 points clear in 2nd, but some are just giving up, wanting Hecky out and ready to hand Boro promotion.

We all care and hurt after defeats, but some can handle it better than overs.
I agree with some of that.
I've never called for Hecky to be sacked, but negative tactics and fear of losing rather than going out to win games is probably the most annoying thing about this club.
And that's because they are shit at shithousing and get punished so often for not nailing a game down when on top.

Come to think of it, I didn't even call for Adkins or Adams to be sacked.

Not miserable at all. Been a great night actually.

Started it off with Champagne, had a shag, and missed the Sunderland goal, then settled down with a bottle of St Emillion and watched the blades get three points.

It seems it's you who are being the miserable one.
Post a video of the shag, or it didn't happen

How can there be negatives Hecky took out that midfield and shook life into it That midfield had done nothing since the start of the slide. Tonight the midfield played with pace, desire and non stop running with no fear to take on a man, beat a very good team of young pacy players. They gave the best they had. Don't underestimate that win at Sunderland, with a win they would have been tied with WBA a point behind Norwich, a dent in their playoff hopes.

I’m fine with being negative, pointing out failings in performances and possible solutions, but it’s way over the top some of the reactions to defeats.

Calling for the manager to be sacked when we’re 2nd in the league is ridiculous.
Has Carrick been sacked yet?

As others have said you don't have to be in a camp saying we are this or that and can react to things as they happen.

We were poor Saturday and have been for a while so the criticism on a forum is fine. That's natural when a team was doing so well had dropped off and some of the decisions by the manager are baffling.

Tonight he made some big calls and the peformance was much better. They and Hecky rightly deserve praise and if we can replicate close to that level of performance we will be ok and probably go up. Need to maintain it now and not have one good game followed by a poor one. Need some consistency but I was worried we had gone so tonight has certainly given me fresh hope. Before that in losing meekly to four promotion rivals I did not see the drive, passion and energy I saw tonight so it's ok to balance the criticism for those showings - with deserved praise tonight.

You do not have to be pigeon holed into one camp of clapper or slasher or whatever the phrases people try and label people.

Agree with that, but the gloom and doom predictions are the ones that get me. After Saturday, we were never going to win again and not even likely to make the playoffs, according to one Shoutboxer.

The ones that I find are consistently negative on here and don't balance things out by being positive when it's deserved, are already in my ignore list now. Until recently I didn't use the ignore function but then I found myself getting more and more pissed off with certain posters. A clicks on the ignore function and I'm a much happier bunny in here, now that I can't see their constant sniping and negativity spreading. It's quite therapeutic. Try it. I don't miss them I've got on ignore anyway.

I agree with you on this. I've blocked a few, most notably Pompey, who whilst funny at times, really grinds my gears, so blocking him has been one of my better decisions.

No sign of Betting Blade? I presume he's still dealing with his hangover post Saturday night?

It's all about balance..I thought we were very poor against Luton, and said so, but I don't want the manager sacked. We were good last night, and I'm saying so, but I don't think the manager should get the England job after last night either.

I travelled up last night and really enjoyed it, the support was superb from start to finish.

where as Hecky is like a wooden dummy always playing a straight bat giving nothing away, it's boring but being grounded is what's needed.
This is the Hecky who has been red carded for his behaviour in the technical area. The passion is certainly there. Doesn’t appear to be a bully though, which is a huge tick because that is not how you motivate in this century.

Must be straining with their full bladders this morning. First morning washing machines not been full of bedsheets for a while. :)
Don’t you worry about my bedsheets, honeybun. You just worry about making sure your red chinos have a sharp crease in them and your Hermes belt isn’t too tight. 🤫

If the manager gives you what you want…Why moan?
Agreed, pace, youth, hunger all in the team tonight and without a doubt was the best we've played away from home, especially 1st half. Obviously I'm guessing we all feel it should be the same team on Sunday, I'd be happy with that anyway, let's get to Wembley and go into the break on a massive high.

Sorry, ‘Hermès’. It’s a luxury brand, dear boy.

I thought their belts were what all the wealthy property types hold their strides up with, to stop their ladened wallets dragging ‘em down? ;)

hecky fully deserved all the flack he got after the luton debacle no excuse for blatant defensive tactics in a home game but have to give him credit for his tactics last night im hoping this convinces him to play more attacking football the players look so much more comfortable having a go norwood and fleck on the bench is the way to go for the remainder of the season

There is a huge difference between being negative, which is of no use to anyone, and being critical when we play badly.
Saturday we were awful and were rightly criticised, but last night we were much better.

When people allowed themselves to get pigeon holed in to one camp or another it takes away their ability to be objective. It’s almost like they can’t praise a good performance or be critical of a poor performance depending on what camp they are within.
