I actually stupidly allowed myself to get excited about the season today. Well that lasted 8 minutes.

I'm aware that there are 45 games left, but I am in dire need of some encouragement.

Someone please tell me we will get promoted and that its a 1 off defeat. I'm struggling to feel anything but
sheer anger at the ridiculous nature of this club not being able to sort out obvious problems. We let in 5 in our last game of last season had the whole summer to correct it and and instead we lost by 4 today without scoring at all, will we turn this around and finally have a great season?

I was waiting for someone to say that. it was 7-1 actually but they had Bryan Gunn as manager, not a manager with a proven track record.

There was a,silence today in our living room, as,I explained to a,BT telephone engineer, who had twigged I am a,Blade, that I was not going to Gillingham. Season ticket holder he is..we muttered about "cost, children, cost". Couldn't say to the man that I have had the stuffing ripped out of me by Nigel Clough and I expect a poor season. Travel to Gillingham? Why?

I remember reading losing on the 1st game of our promotion season to Plymouth. They went 33games unbeaten after that and won the league. Must be plenty of other examples

however after witnessing that today I'd be surprised if we went 3 games unbeaten especially with Chesterfield, Swindon and Blackpool to come this month who scored 9 between em today.
