A sub came on for the Blades and really changed the game?

After their 2 subs both scored yesterday, it got me to thinking when has this really happened for us? When has this supposedly huge squad really been used to change things when it's not going well?

Others may be able to call on plenty of examples, but I couldn't.

We've actually got a pretty decent bench most of the time (it would be even better if some hadn't gone on loan) so it's remarkable how Adkins never manages to change a game with his substitutions.

Didn't Sharp come on and score a winner earlier this season? Point taken though as he isn't normally a sub. Basically it's just reaffirming what we alread know - shite squad!

Jamie Murphy last season when Higdon got booked in the first half

Che Adams v spurs

The subs must have made some difference at Wigan when we came back from three down to draw?

Not really I don't think. It was 3-2 before we made any and the last goal, although 2 of the subs touch the ball in the build up to the third, JCR gives it away and Adams plays a simple pass.

It is completely reliant on Sharp to set up and Done to finish, both of whom were already on.

Neill Collins came on as sub against Morecambe in the League Cup and scored the winner. Knew I'd come up with an example!
