I remember that well. They cut the match ball in half afterwards.

Can't remember any other double hat tricks though. Woody and Dearden maybe?

scored a hat trick in a game for us, I remember Deane and Agana against Chester but can't think of any others?
The only other time were Harry Johnson and David Mercer in the 11-2 win against Cardiff in New Years Day 1926. The offside rules had changed in summer 1925 and this caused a lot of problems for many defenders who were used to the old offside rules for years

So, since the rules were changed, we've not won anything. I think we've found the problem. The Football League was out to get us even then.

Skip to 21 minutes, 10 seconds for Chester! Sadly for me, I just missed out on this season. Great, and heroic video I'm sure many of you will have seen! The music is something else during the games, although its only at the start of the season and then randomly kicks in here and there!

Recent brace of braces:

Walker and Taylor Vs Brum (4-4)
Pesch and Nuddy Vs Rovrum (5-0) *Nuddy got his hat-trick in the next game against Cardiff in a 5-3 win.
Brown and Nuddy Vs Burnley (4-2)
Kabba and Andy Gray Vs Crewe (4-0)
Sharp and Shelton Vs Morcombe (5-0) LC
Phillips and Williamson Vs PNE (2-4)
Miller and Maguire Vs Notts C (1-4) JPT
