There was a little kid behind me last night, sat with his Dad. He'd obviously been dragged along and had little interest in football, despite being sat there in his football kit. The kid was probably about 7/8.
Within the first five minutes, he wanted food and drink only to be told to wait until half time. Every two minutes after that, he was asking when half time was.
His Dad proceeded to moan to his mate that his kid was only bothered about crisps and sweets, not football. But surely football is the one thing that can ruin what is otherwise a perfect day? Drinking with your mates out in the sun, engaging in a bit of cutting banter - what could be better?
So when has football made it go tits up for you?
