When did you start to believe?

We're Blades, we always believe!!!!
It just the kick in the bollocks that normally Is the only thing we get in return!!!
But not this year, oh no, this year there's a special gentleman that's been cupping and tenderly stroking ours all season, just he doesn't get an eyefull when he steers us to the title!!

After the Bolton game for me. I got some pelters on here for suggesting we rarely win big games and I honestly didn't think we would beat Bolton, but was delighted they proved me wrong.

I also think the away wins at Swindon and Oxford were telling. A tough run of away fixtures, Tuesday nights away, solid win and character after being pegged back from 2-0 up at Swindon. After that win it gave me a lot of confidence in the character and drive of the team.

I know nothing has been confirmed yet but barring any real disaster we'll be playing championship football next season. Was wondering when everybody else started to believe that we will be promoted this season?

For me it was after the Bolton game. Second in the league coming to the lane and we absolutely outclassed them for 90 minutes. Went home and started to think "if second in the league are as good as that, who else have we got to fear and who can stop us"?

I started to believe 6 feckin seasons ago, been a long wait but I'm more confident this season!

For me the answer is "before the season started". It's been the same every season for the past 6 years. Only this time it will come true.

This morning is the first time I have allowed myself to look at the Championship table, to see who is likely to go down, at the Premier league table for the same, to see who we are likely to be playing next season. But I did say to the better half, what things could we get points deducted for? Fielding an illegible player was the reply. We haven't have we? :)
And all this time we've been playing Billy while he has third party ownership. Not to worry though as we will be let off with a fine as anything else wouldn't be fair on the fans

Weird one, but as soon as the January transfer window had shut for me.

Hadn't lost anyone significant and brought a decent few in :)

When we won at Southend, I began to fancy us for promotion. When we beat Bolton at home, I was convinced we would do it.

Bolton at home & to a lesser extent Scunny too. Turned up for both matches, very un-United like. Still waiting to see a better side than us this season. Also, as GPoS points out, Chesterfield away. Watched us in the pub completely dismantle them and realised we'd got a team on our hands at last.

When we were bottom of the League, 1 point from 12 afetr 4 games, and i backed us to win League!! Keep the faith...
