I know nothing has been confirmed yet but barring any real disaster we'll be playing championship football next season. Was wondering when everybody else started to believe that we will be promoted this season?

For me it was after the Bolton game. Second in the league coming to the lane and we absolutely outclassed them for 90 minutes. Went home and started to think "if second in the league are as good as that, who else have we got to fear and who can stop us"?

I've played it cautious by 'not wanting to tempt fate' on here. The Unbeaten run after the Gillingham win, you just knew there was something about this team that would go on and do well.

Loads of moments through the season which just said it was going to be our year. The draw at Scunthorpe with 10 men, last minute goals and the Coventry game. I was pissed off with their fans running on to the pitch with 5 minutes left and then we come out and score straight away. What a season.

When Wilder was appointed and started clearing out the deadwood and signed a defence.
No tarting about, nowt too clever, just common sense from minute one.
Exactly that, in a nutshell
no fancy dans , no chasing dan burn for 6 months, just solid defenders
helping each other out in a simple system thats adaptable

common sense signings doing the job for their position

Football is a really simple game , just keep it that way

Believed after that late goal at Coventry.

I was certain at Peterborough. A great man commented: "queue mad scenes".

To overcome that farce at Coventry and go and win anyway was very significant. You start to get a feeling that things are going for you.

The Gillingham game too. I said after that game 'right, we're going to be good away from home this season'.... that actually proved to be a bit of an understatement - one loss since August!

It's been clear we have been the best side in the division from late October onwards, however that does not always mean promotion, I belived we had a better side than Charlton and Wednesday in 2012 but finished third.

I have been pretty convinced we would go up since we recovered from the Walsall / Fleetwood wobble.

I never believe in anything, still living with the memory that Santa isn't real.

Beating Millwallon Tuesday. I was confident before then, but there was no way Fleetwood would overturn a 13 point gap.

Yesterday. Just couldn't bring myself to believe before.

Same here. When you don't play and come through pretty much unscathed is when you know you've done the 'hard yards' to get you in that position. Since the turn of the year, as teams have looked like joining the promotion-chasing pack - Millwall, Oxford, Rochdale, Souhend, Scunthorpe, Bolton (everybody apart from Fleetwood) - we've put them in their place.

Oh, I've no doubt that there will probably be the odd 'blip', could be at Northampton or a party-wrecker on the last day of the season, but it won't be enough to blow us off course. And don't worry too much about the Championship. The pigs are showing relegation form (one win in seven) but will probably regain sixth place after yet another 'gimme' at Rotherham on Tuesday. 'La Liga' my arse.

This morning is the first time I have allowed myself to look at the Championship table, to see who is likely to go down, at the Premier league table for the same, to see who we are likely to be playing next season. But I did say to the better half, what things could we get points deducted for? Fielding an illegible player was the reply. We haven't have we? :)

Believe is the wrong word because a few injuries would scupper any team. But last minute winners are a good indicator of promotion potential, and the one versus Bury was a real galvanising moment.

Illegible? You mean the FA couldn't read his signature?

Anyway, as long as it's not more than 10 points, we should still be OK....

when you look at in reality
the chances of Fleetwood denying us a promotion place now is exactly the same as Wednesday overtaking Brighton

who thinks Wednesday can catch Brighton ?

4:55 yesterday, on a day when ironically we didn't even play.

Probably that we had a chance of being up there -maybe Autumn/October.

When I thought, oh this could really be our year, Southend away.

Peterborough away when Wilder brought on a forward (Lavery I think it was) for a midfielder and went for win. Previous managers we've had in this league would have brought on a defender and celebrated a draw.
