I think you win the prize for being the first to remember United turning a 3-0 into a 3-3. The match was in October 86; I must have been 1 of the 8,816 crowd, but seem to have totally wiped the game from my memory. I hope the United players can do the same with the last 10 minutes at Villa.

The only person who you can say could learn a lesson is Wilder with his substitutions handing the initiative to Villa.

The other mistakes were down to rashness and a lack of composure, with a hint of nesh thrown in imho.

Not sure they are things you learn from in a few days.
