I have one of Mitch Ward's diamond shirts framed. His missus was my hairdresser around that time and managed to get me a signed shirt and one of those velvet shields signed as well (which I believe is up in the loft).

Fell out with it when Kendall took him to Everton, but since have it back out and up on the wall in the spare room. Also have one of Alan Kelly's match worn goalkeeper shirts with the gloves on the front.

Interesting watching the highlights. Forgot that David Seaman made a fantastic save in the last few minutes preventing Veart from scoring. Seaman of course would return to haunt us in the FA Cup!

I was working in Holland and in a strictly run b&b the night of the Veart match, no mobiles then so got my missus to phone the b&b and let it ring 3 times at full time if we'd won knowing all in the b&b would all be in bed, was strange but pleasant hearing those 3 rings in the distance.
