The transfer window is still open, we've still got 126 points to play for, we've managed to hound out most of the players we wanted to leave and we've got the Bladiest of Bladey Blade managers.
Chillax everyone, we'll look back and laugh at this in about 50 years.

you've not seen the table then?

i hope you are right. but some of us see this as an extension of a longer trend going back ten years
it's easy to think the worst after what we have gone through since 2007. We've all been guilty of it at some point. However it doesn't automatically mean it's going to go the same way. New players to come, time to gel. It's difficult but we have to muster some patience from somewhere

We are 3 to 4 good players light. Can`t see that being rectified because a) I don`t think Wilder knows whats needed and b) I doubt the board will fund them if he did. His signings so far, keeper excepted are decidedly underwhelming.
But like folk say,it`s only a poor start, nowt to worry about.

We're in a state of transformation late goal today when everybody thought we'd get hammered it's virtually a new team be patient

What a ridiclious post! We are only 4 games into the season! Yes we are bottom but I still think we may be in reach of finishing 11th which we reached under the clueless Adkins!

Chrissy is a Blade, he's a Bladey Blade!:)

I'd be more worried if we didn't have all these international links with clubs around the world. At least we can borrow their best up and coming players.

At least we're not wearing that white shirt from last season.

Then it would be a calamity, for sure.

Absolutely! He's very strong on the big things!

Not so hot on thinking what to say to the players after a loss, but the shirt thing! He's nailed that one!

Yes,
According to some we are entrenched in a relegation battle in the middle of August. It's a poor start. We all know that but at the moment that's all it is

So, the amount of catch-up and requirements to generate impetus to get to where we expect to be - the top two - is totally lost on you, isn't it?

You clearly do live under the sea, don't you?

yep, I can see it now, 'remember that year we got relegated to the 4th div by Christmas, wasnt it frigging hilarious'?

Belper Town and AFC Emley.
So much to offer, but we never went ahead.
Ashley Flynn scored 70+ last season...

Transfer dealing manager needs a sortin' out.

Totally agree and I seem to recall Wigan were around the bottom half after a month last season. We need to cut out the individual errors like Chris Basham's pathetic header clearance and the hand ball etc and we'll be just fine. The main thing that is worrying me now is the alleged problem between Billy and Clarke. Also with each loss of draw the pressure cranks up more on the players. We have been unlucky in my view. It seems each error is been punished severely but saying that is our errors not great play from the opposition. Here's also hoping for a couple in this week, a centre mid and a centre back seem the priority. We can roll with Freeman if finances are tight. He seemed to impress Wilder today and he did more in one game than Brayford did in his previous 4 games attacking wise.

One - Nothing wrong with me
Two - Nothing wrong with me
Three - Nothing wrong with me
Four - Nothing wrong with me
One - Something's got to give
Two - Something's got to give
Three - Something's got to give

I had a dream that Tufty came to me and Mrs Shoreham Street's for Sunday Roast. He wasn't impressed with the quality of the turned and spoke his mind. But then came the next week and nothing had changed.

I hope he has as high expectations for his back four as he appears to for turkey beast smothered in bacon.

You clearly believe a new manager should be able to come in, completely revamp the squad in LESS than one full transfer window. Having it play instant attractive winning football cementing its place in the top 2 in August (where you expect to be) through to May when it gains automatic promotion?
I'm quite aware that we have made a poor start and are nowhere near where we want to be at the moment and there's an awful lot of work to do. With 3 maybe four additions and time to gel we could quite easily be top 6 by November. I'm also aware that clubs like Wigan and Barnsley had piss poor starts last season but eventually found there feet. So let's keep it real shall we? Find me one person in professional footballer who believes promotion is won or lost in August 10 days before the transfer window has closed?
If you can find one (which of course you won't) they must be as deluded as you
