Our form since our last defeat:
W W W D W W D W W W
We are a good side that knows how to fight and how to win.
Even without much JTW activity, we are in with a great chance of top 2.
I suspect we will strengthen though.
Keep the faith Blades, all will be well.

I hope we can steal a march on the summer window and sign 1 or maybe 2 who might do a job in PL (should we get there of course) next season. BBD maybe 🙏

I suspect a couple of slip ups about to arrive. We are due some.

But we are nearing the window and are in a great place for a few to come in and strengthen ready for a strong finish.
I suspect it’s going to be very tight.

If wilder were literally anyone else in the world there’d be much more clamour for change. The majority of our wins have been squeaking past inferior opposition. Wilder is not going to be the man in the PL for us again if we do return.

More clamour for change from a manager who has rebuilt a whole team, given our pride back and led a team who sit top of the table, fucking bed wetting wankers

Unfortunately strengthening to the extent we badly need to in January is problematic. This takeover came months and months too late, I fear today is a season defining one with the injuries and comfort of which Burnley eased to that.

There's no clamour for change because we are top of the league, which is pretty miraculous considering the squad that the manager is working with.
Yeah our squad is absolute poverty and we should be fighting for 4th bottom.

It's likely that automatic promotion will go the two teams who do the best work in the JTW.

We have a strong first XI but a few injuries and after that we are relying on kids.

Got to agree with that, and I wouldn't class Burnley as a good side necessarily, just organised. We don't threaten much and once a well balanced team recognises that we're pretty easy to play against.
Big difference for them is they have wide players and we don’t

We’ve been short of players since the start of the season because of the rebuild and now because of injures, suspensions and squad rotation it’s showing I’m hoping/praying that the new owners will step up this transfer window.

I wouldn't be half as bothered at just losing the game today, but losing Souttar too is a hammer blow. I doubt we will see him play for us again, but really hope I am wrong.

Add a CB to the shopping list now. Anel and Robbo will be fine as a pairing at this level, but we will need a quality back up.

This maybe a blessing in disguise, as it shows us our frailties, if we want to be top 2 we have to invest in the middle and up top.

Also if Anel was fit why wasn’t he in the side…

They're a very good side.
Very well organised, probably the best team out of possession in the league.

The opposite of Leeds who are the best team in the league with possession.

Both have substantially better squad depth than us, which will need to be addressed in January if we're to last the pace.

UTB. It's clear we've lost Souza for a bit and Souttar for a long time. Let's be brutally honest, it will take a small miracle for us to keep first place with all these injuries, but we should be very, very thankful to Chris for getting the best out of the first part of the season. I can't help but be a pessimist and see us dropping down the table to the playoff places, but I can't fault Chris for everything he's done with our limited options, U21s, the psychological impact of Baldock's tragic passing and injuries. Let's hope the board offer Chris the support he needs for what has been a phenomenal season in the circumstances.

So 26 from a possible 30 over the last 10. If we lose the next 4 that's 26 from a possible 42 over 14 games.

Stats can make almost anything positive. And I'm pissed, which is even more impressive.

I'm in the '26 from 30 after these 4' camp, so all good.
Hope your hangover isn't too bad mate
