Any prize you would see on the generation game or bullseye would do better than him.

making someone a scape goat doesnt make them a better player either

SERIOUSLY? Are you having a laugh??????

scapegoat my a*se. Nosworothy is unquestionably the worst player i have seen in a sheff utd shirt this decade. It's got sod all to do with him being a scapegoat, people slag him off because he is sh*t. its that simple. he is sh*t. He cant tackle, hes slow, he never heads it where he intended, he makes needless fouls, he cost us the first 2 goals against hull and lets be honest, could have easily been sent off AND ABOVE ALL OF THIS is one of the HIGHEST earners at the club. It's f*cking rediculous, i just cannot believe that ANYONE is defending him. Pathetic, i have seen better playeres at my local park. Sorry, but i am amazed that anyone can accuse this situation as him being a scapegoat. Its B*LLOCKS.

Yesterday, he defended pretty well with little or no scary moments. Very similar performance to Forest for those who saw him there.

If only he could do it every week.

So booing him when he touches the ball(as happened against Hull) isn't making him a scape goat ?

Nosworthy plays because the manager picks him..this is not the player's fault that he is selected. Yes he appears to do a 'Claude Davis' once a game but appears to be blamed when things aren't his fault ?e.g. first goal v Hull...we lost the ball,Taylor didn't pick up his man and god forbid, the winger was quicker than Nosworthy.

However I wasn't questioning whether NN was a good player(although even you cannot deny he has had some good games this season) and was questioning supporters wanting to have a blame culture during matches. So I ask you,how does booing a player (i.e. making him a scape goat) make him a better player during a game. ?

I didn't hear anyone booing when he touched the ball. i heard plenty around me having a go at the ref for not sending him off though :)

he was booed after the second goal by sections of the Kop each time he touched the ball for the remainder of the half.

I don't think he could have been sent off as bartley was covering

It wasn't in the box, but the forward had plenty of time to pop off a shot before Bartley would have got across.

It's true that parts of the Kop (or at least the fans therein) were booing him against Hull, which is pretty poor.

That said, he is unquestionably dire.

Yep, some of the John Street were boing him too - fucking morons the lot of them.

Makes me ashamed to be a Blade sometimes

Without defending the booing, I understand the sentiment. He's paid staggeringly well and makes the sort of mistakes which smack of arrogance rather than ineptitude. Choosing to dwell on the ball so much is unprofessional.

I won't boo him, but he needs a managerial shoeing.

Makes me laugh and scared at the same time - That first half dribble against Swansea then the second half stumble. Hmmm Titus Bramble two.

Love him or hate him - we'd better get behind him for the next game. He's got a massive job to do.

I would never agree with booing a player during a match. If you want to take the piss out of a player might I suggest an appropriate medium, such as an internet forum for example.

Top post originally though, it made me smile ;-)

i dont agree with booing the players during a game,if said player is having a mare, the manager should be aware of this and sub him or drop him regardless of how much the player is earning,he aint helping the team.having said that he was made to look like he had got stuck in the mud against hull

Despite Nozzy having a good game at Norwich, this photo of him on the training ground suggests some work is still to be done
