Nope, he served his suspension against QPR.

Why the he'll do we want him playing for Scotland with all the extra football and travelling involved?

From a purely selfish point of view I don't want him playing for them.

He of course might think very differently and want to play for his country of birth and I can't fault his attitude if this is what he wants. But I'm happy with his continued and mysterious non selection for the sweaties.

That's really easy to answer.

He played for Rangers and looked "promising" but it was too early in his career to really establish himself. He moved to Coventry and started to emerge as one of their best players, but this was in a relegation threatened side in League 1. He joined us just over a year ago and started to stand out as one of the best players in a good League 1 side. And over the past few months, that is, since the start of this season in August, he's proving now that he can be amongst the best midfielder players in the Championship.

So really, he's only just, and I mean, over the past few months, really started to show that he can cut it at a very good level of English football.

That's why he's been overlooked for now. But you can be pretty certain he'll be finding his way into the national squad before the end of this season.

Is that explanation o.k. or should I re-write it and pretend that somebody has got it in for him and us?
