As the title says. I'm interested to know what our fanbase thinks of our chances next season.

That will depend on who we buy and how well they equip themselves in the Prem.
We won't be buying any current Premier League players so they will either come from the Championship or abroad. But then again we don't buy any from abroad either.
So, players like McBurnie, Bowen, Dan James, Maupay, Canos, if they can adopt the same team spirit will make us strong enough to compete in the 13th - 17th bracket. Then next year improve further

So many variables at this point. It's a none answerable question.

I suspect any new signings will be British or Irish. Seems to be an esprit de corps at the lane imbibed with a touch of laddishness and any foreign fancy dans coming in wouldn't " get it".. if you get my meaning.

I would like to think we will be more adventurous under CW than we were under Warnock, especially away from home.
Mid table or above.

I know it's early and it will ultimately depend on who we bring in, investment etc etc. It's nice to see that we are not over confident and are being realistic about our chances next season.

Wonder what the other side would vote on this poll

Which is the least 'classy' position to finish in? That will do for the classless Blunts.

Think we’ll surprise everyone and at no time be in the relegation zone.

Really think we’ll be around the 14th or 15th position most of the season.
Very confident we’ll stay up because we’ll be underestimated.

What we shouldn’t be doing is aiming for 17th and classing that as a massive success.
Depends on the signings we make but think we should be aiming for mid table.

We will get stuffed by the elite sides, but do well, especially at home against many of the rest. 15th spot.

13th

Best of the promoted clubs.

Your forgetting that's not the Wilder way :-)

He always spends the first couple of weeks at the bottom, usually losing the first couple of matches.

Then we make our move for the top :-)

6th. Wilder will be happy with qualification for the Europa League, he will want to wait for the Champion's League for another season. ;)

The stay up to give us that platform to build on,hopefully to be safe before the final day don’t need that stress all again, but this is the blades we’re talking about lol

To quote a Geordie friends quote.. "17th will do" I'd happily take 17th spot now. Build and consolidate. Make steady progress. Even if we went down. I'd be tremendously proud of the boys and the team.

On Porktalk, one of them confidently predicted we would finish lower in the Prem than they will in the Championship as though that was an outrageous improbability. I’m going with that, although there isn’t a box to tick for that.

Impossible to predict until we know the level of investment. I’d settle for staying up - and despite the many attributes of our current players, I think we will need to strengthen a fair bit to do that.

It’s highly likely we’ll finish 2 or 3 places above the relegation zone
And the Pigs might finish 2 or 3 places below the play-off zone.

However all these predictions are silly really because no one knows which players us and them have bought and sold.
For example SW are supposed to be under an embargo, so will likely sell their best players and buy lower standard players
So SW might do well to finish top half due to having a much weaker squad next season.
