I agree. They took a wrong turning back in 1974 when they rejected my application for a trainee reporter role, and I don’t think they’ve ever really recovered …
Based on my subsequent career, I might well have become editor in due course, and things would have been very different with a Blade in charge.

Always been the same. To be fair it is Leeds based and massively biased. Probably calling it Yorkshire Post is a misnomer. Should be West and North Yorkshire Post.
