Had we have been in the playoffs now, would Wilder have come out and said what he said last weekend?

You can look back at many a game this season at dropped points, but if we select the most recent, Barnsley & Birmingham for instance, I do wonder that if we had beaten these whether the atmosphere would be different.

I imagine it would, but then that wouldn't abolish the current situation regarding the board, so part of me does wonder whether Chris was venting his frustration at not beating teams we ought to be beating given the season they all had. Whilst I agree with everything that has so far been said, I do not think the board had any influence over our poor end to the season.

So in a bit she’ll, you’re asking if Wilder is using the board situation to cover up how he got found out in the last 2 months of the season?

Only the last two months of the season ?

If
we had just finished in the autos or third to the 2 better teams in this league;
we had turned up to every game (as the players did last year);
then I'd be enormously disappointed if we lost Wilder.
He's still a good manager but he isn't the messiah and if he decides the grass is greener elsewhere, well off you go.
The only issue we have is the enormously poor record at appointing managers but it's not something I can influence, so why worry?
I know not getting into the play offs has made a few people emotional but if they could just collectively save shitting their pants until something bad happens, those of us with a bit more backbone would appreciate it.
