I just want to see my team attack at home, play positive football and give all their heart in each game they play for the team I love.
I'm a fan of Sheffield United, I'm no expert on the sport but I know when I have seen a strong, positive, enjoyable match at the lane and I have not seen that many this season at home.
I don't care what leauge we are in, if I am being honestly truthful.
Win, lose or draw I just want to see my team put out a performance I can be proud off.
Its the simple things about football that Mangers/ Players are just getting wrong, I understand it is a results business, but I want it to be an entertainment!!!!
I won't lose love in United but I might lose love in football.

Hallelujah ! That's what I want from SUFC as well.

And I am an expert, at least in this internet world in which I live ...........................................

I don't want to pay £18 quid for my 16 year old. And, seeing how he point blank refuses to come anymore - job done.

Well done United!!

I completely agree with everything you said. The only time it's about the result over entertainment, for me, is in a final of any description. If we got to a cup final or playoff final, I'd take a turgid performance that won.

Other than that, let's go for it, attack and entertain.

Football is still bloody marvellous even if United make it like watching a turd dry in the sun.

All I want them to do is attempt the right things (even if it doesn't come off), keep bloody trying and look like they actually enjoy it. At the moment they've all the enthusiasm of a retiring civil servant.

There's nothing to play for tomorrow so why not just play for the love of it. Radical idea?

I want a threesome every other Saturday with a young sofia vergara and holly willoughby instead of going to bramall lane, Im due some real entertainment

Like the falling out of love with football bit. Im afraid winning is far more important than entertaining. Always has been.

Forest bored their way to two European cups but no one remembers the boring bit.

Oh yes they do.

I won't fall out of love with United, I still love the game but unfortunately I have zero respect for the overpaid tossbags that play it.
This season I have struggled to get motivated. Not because of how we are playing but of what we are striving to achieve. That is, promotion to the Championship. I cannot muster the energy to hope my team get promoted to a division I don't want to see them play in. The further up you go the worse it gets. The diving, cheating, swearing, money-grabbing etc. They get paid more than royalty and behave like juvenile animals.
Unfortunately, I cannot justify funding this anymore and so from next season I won't.
I have been going since 1981 and have witnessed some proper shit so it's not the quality on offer that's stopped me, I just cannot bear to see the behaviour of the majority of the players who have ruined the game I love.
My opinion may change. That is my perogative.
I know I'll miss going and so may decide to start again in the future. Something will have to drastically change before I do.
I know I may get slated "Support your club through thick and thin" and all that. Ironically I could be baling out in a promotion season (If all goes well in the play-offs, which I hope it does for the sake of all Blades fans) so it could be not that thin!
It's not a decision I have taken lightly and has been a very emotional one. I'll see how it goes.
Billyblade.
