What Do You Want?

I run a Sheff United YouTube channel with a chap called Nick, I feel like it’s an extension of this forum and as such I want more people who are on this forum to be on the channel.


The main reason for this post to ask what YOU would like to see on the channel, what videos you’d like us to make, subjects to cover or people to interview? Particularly in the off-season.

We have already produced videos on the club’s finances, interviewed former and current players, watchalongs (our most popular videos by far) and done an in-depth review of Slavisa Jokanovic’s career.

The next video is on Tuesday 1st June live at 7pm the End of Season Fans Forum, 2 spaces left specifically for people from this forum. If you’d like to be on a video please drop me a DM. If you’d rather just watch then please note it is interactive so please comment as we go and we can read your comments on screen.

We are really keen to hear more feedback, opinions and get new people involved with the channel. It’s also free to watch and free to subscribe so if you haven’t yet please do subscribe.

How about doing season reviews of past seasons? With the added bonus of the fact you can add actual footage of goals and games you're talking about while you're talking about them? I'm not sure if there are copyright issues there...

Also, how about watchalongs of classic games where you actually show the 90 minutes with your two faces in the corner talking about the game as it's going on? Again.. potential copyright issues I guess?

Also, I would really appreciate if you don't get a season ticket next season, as your watchalongs this season have made it bearable. I'll be watching on iFollow next year and was looking forward to hearing you two over the top of it until I realised you'll be going to the games instead.

I love all these ideas, we would have to look into copyright issues but I would be well up for reviewing past seasons.

Watchalongs is a hot topic amongst Nick and I. He wants me to keep doing them (he has a season ticket but I don't as I travel the world for work and live away from Sheffield) and I'm happy to still do them (thank you for your comments) BUT they have only been possible because fans couldn't attend. I'm not sure if I'd be allowed to do a watchalong for a game next season, that needs further investigation.
