What do you honestly think PH is thinking and what is being said between PH and the Prince ?

That doesn’t make sense mate. You had a hissy fit at another poster, refusing to debate something you “knew” to be true. Turns out you don’t know, you heard off it someone, someone that could be feeding you bollocks or completely misinterpreted what they supposedly saw.
I trust the bloke I’ve asked, I’d consider that as good as knowing. What do you want me to do, go to shirecliffe and get up the CCTV? 😂

He might be disappointed but he won't storm off he has a tidy 5 year contract with no expectations placed on him.

Hey, maybe he was just late. Stormed off just fits the current narrative, let's rephrase it.. 'He trundled off'. See, no panic necessary.
Maybe he stormed off furious after watching Lauren James stamp at the World Cup?!

Ok, did your mate give any more details then? Where was he when this all kicked off? Any words exchanged? Was this done in public? Where did Hecky storm off too?

Nope. ‘Is it true what’s going round about Hecky storming off yesterday?’ ‘Yeah’ was about as far as it got.

Despite his lowly pay grade, Heckinbottom has every right to be frustrated and angry about the timing of N’diaye’s departure. He will rightly be miffed by the possibility of Berge leaving just before the season kicks off.
Berge has never pushed for a move, but the Prince wants a return on his signature, or the Burnley approach is respected and put to Berge for consideration? Either scenario is fine, but to pressure Berge with an ultimatum, looks bad on the club.

PH should be involved at this stage even if he claims tha player sales are not his remit.

Until the truth comes out, I’m siding with PH and Berge being treated disrespectfully by the club (The Prince).

I love this recurring idea that managers should stand up to the board. They’re employees - they do their job or they find another one. He can tell them what thinks of their strategy, but he’s not going to slate them in the media to prove his mettle.

I’m certain Hecky is disappointed and hugely frustrated. I’m also certain he’ll get on with the job unless or until he gets a better offer.
I get that i like Hecky no issues with him but in any line of work if you don't have the right tools for the job shouldn't you speak up?

There is also the flip side of course.i was having a pop at the vacating Wolves manager another Billy big tatas if you don't give me money I'm off i thought a coach manager was supposed to improve with what he has. Hecky has done this and will continue to do that but for god's sake give him and the team a punchers chance ..UTB

Quite apart from the fact that he's not wealthy enough to just walk away from the job, he's invested so much emotionally into getting to this point. All the obstacles that were put in his way last year and despite everything, he got us to the Premier League. And he did it with a staff and a squad who have a fantastic spirit.

No way he walks away from that (although I'm sure he'd love to tell everyone above him exactly what he thinks of them).

The relationshion between the two men is being seriously tested at this point. If I was PH I'd feel livid, frustrated and let down that I'd worked so hard to get the club into the Premier League and then been effectively hung out to dry once we'd got there.

I imagine PA will be thinking that he was the once who gave Hecky this big chance and that he should be forever grateful for it and keep in line.

I think Hecky's press conferences going forward will be very interesting. What he will and won't say, his body language etc.

If you look back to Wilder's pressers from around August 2020, it was clear at that point that the writing was on the wall, something would inevitably give and Wilder would eventually be out of the door. It was just a question of when.

I’m sure he’s told his bosses how difficult they’ve made his task. He’ll probably tell the media he’d like more players in and he’d like them in sooner.

If he goes beyond that into direct opposition to the owner, there’s only one winner in that argument.

I hope and expect he stays, but I’d understand if he chooses not to. He’ll know if he can work within “the plan”.

Must be totally fascinating…

What’s your honest view ?
He’ll be saying ”going to plan”.

Coveret operation to get who we want at the price we want since Ndiaye holed their plans below the waterline.

Think the hard headed sharp tongued Yorkshireman and the silky mystic Prince are pulling a blinder and we will get Harmer, Akpom and O’briane by Sept 1.

😂🙏👍

Hecky is probably thinking the same as a lot of fans that the Prince is taking the piss and is full of bullshit

Berge to Burnley was posted on here midday on Sunday, so I’d be amazed if Hecky didn’t know before benniblade!

Storming off suggests it’s was an emotional “fuck this, I’m out of here” spare of the moment decision. E.g. the Prince rang him and he decided he’d had enough.

If he did storm off on Monday, it doesn’t seem to be due to Berge in my opinion.
Maybe just maybe he had to rush off to get a incoming transfer over the line 🤔

Will find out soon or maybe not. Doing a interview on talksport with Jim White today. Not sure exact time. Surprise Baltic blade didn't tell us🤔

He stormed out of training yesterday. He doesn’t.

Anyone who's just listened to his interview still want to question whether that happened?

It's your prerogative if you want to pretend it's all fluffy cushions and rainbows.

Worrying interview from a team manager 3 days before the season kicks off.

Those still burying their heads in the sand probably need to listen.

He’s from Barnsley. It’s in his contract that it’s badger and chips day for lunch Tuesdays. PA mugged him off with sheep’s eyes. He was off to Greggs.

For those of us who couldn't listen and won't get to until much later, what did he say and how did he sound?

I'll caveat this by saying it is the Daily Fail the paper that loves a negative SUFC slant. If true however add it to the list of issues that PH is not happy about. Delaying payment of bonuses is hardly going to endear us as a Club to new signings or keep the current players happy.

Don't say that, you're asking people to think for themselves
