Are you a politician in disguise BT. 93% have currently voted in Matt Bianco's poll that they don't like the shirt because it hasn't got stripes on the back. Pretty conclusive to me that the fan base doesn't like it. By the way I have worked with politicians and PR people before

I have to agree. I started the week excited about a new kit and maybe a new signing or 2. Instead we lost Players , well Brooks being the main one. And then reveal this rubbish shirt having teasing us all week! I hope this isn't a sign of things to come! Our squad is looking a little thin again.

It's one of the worst home kits we've released in a long, long time.

It's an eyesore. They could have made a classic, and it had potential from the taster video. They've got it so wrong though.

That for me is the disappointing thing. We’ve had kits that were just shit (the Weir one, the diamond abomination etc.) or ones that deviated too far from our “proper kits” (the Adkins anniversary one, the diamond abomination again). But this has the potential to be good. I’ve seen a picture edited to have the sponsor in black and it looks so much better. Imagine how good it would look with the stripes on the back and black sponsor with no box. It’s be a hell of a kit. It’s like they did the hard part and then just fucked it up deliberately. That’s what is so disappointing. I also don’t like the black shorts white socks combo but that’s probably just an age thing as I understand we wore that combination before my time.

I'd say 'it's fine' is not dissatisfied.

That puts it at over half positive, various degrees of positive but positive nontheless.

I've never said it's a classic, I didn't make the bloody thing but some of the reaction on here has made me think I must be insane not to be considering going down and immolating myself in the club shop on the 4th.

I clicked the middle option because it ended with “a little disappointed” and I didn’t think it quite warranted a full on “it’s wank”. I was somewhere in between. If there had been 4 options, my vote would have likely been third. I’m not happy with it but it’s not quite the monstrosity some think. Just badly let down by specific features.


But as one of those middle box tickers, my feelings are certainly not positive.

I clicked on "It's wank" I like the front and I also like the black shoulder stripes but the colour of the sponsor and the fact it is in a huge white plastic panel spoils the look from the front. The back well they should never be plain we play in stripes same goes for the arms ............................. stripes.
