I know it was just one game but what a result, not only are we one point ahead but their influential centre half may miss some games ( the international break may be a godsend) their 1st choice goalkeeper will be missing for 3 games, their second choice keeper was prone to mistakes before Casilla was signed, plus whatever mental hangover they may have suffered, all of which turned a fabulous result into a perfect day

Add to that the long anticipated Bielsa meltdown as well [watch his post match interview] then this could very well be the day that Leeds broke.

i don't think so, they absolutely savaged us in that first half and I didn't think another team in the Championship would be able to do that. Apart from this game Leeds have been in superb form and it's easy to see why, Norwich on the other hand have just been getting by...

Their keeper will be a huge miss for three games as their backup keeper is dodgy as owt. Any news on Jansson’s injury? The lad looked goosed.

Think it says to other teams that if you defend well , that you can get a result against them.

They may well look good going forward but lack composure at the back. So many mishit passes out from the back that ended up as a throw for us. Press them and they struggle like any other side in this division. We "played" Leeds today. Knew exactly what they would do and what we needed to do to get a result.

It’s only a one game ban for a “professional foul” as opposed to the 3 for “serious foul play”. So he’ll only be missing the millwall home game which they should win comfortably

Norwich 1 up just on the stroke of half time
Pigs 1 up
Other play off contenders determined to fuck it up and let them sneak in

There was only one play off place to play for a couple of weeks ago but now there are definitely two with Middlesboro pressing the self destruct button

I think villa is the team that will get into the top 6 they are on a bit of a charge at the moment, their last 2 games are against Leeds and Norwich, I'd be very surprised if Wednesday get into the top 8

Villa (and, dare I say it, the Pigs) could havdxa major part to play in our promotion. But for today, at least, it's now in our own hands.

Apparently their keeper will only miss one game as it was given for stopping a goal scoring opportunity rather than violent conduct. Seems a bit of a dumb rule to me a straight red should mean you miss three games, what would happen if he had broke Billy's leg when he took him out ?

Then I guess it would have been 3 match ban for violent conduct.

I think them not having their keeper affects them a lot more than say...us missing Madine at this crucial time. Today was a great result and it feels so go to shut the Leeds fans up at Elland Road, but when they get Roofe and their keeper back from suspension will it all be too late ??

They’ve had an unbeaten run of 10-11 games, in which they’ve played the bottom 5 teams - a last minute winner at Ipswich, a last minute equaliser at Rotherham, a draw with Reading at home, a draw away at Millwall and a last minute winner at Ipswich.

They’ve then managed some home wins against sides with nothing to play for - Brentford, Swansea, Wigan.

They’ve then got a couple of draws against ourselves and Derby - sides above them.

It’s hardly the outstanding march towards promotion they’d have you believe. After they’ve probably beaten Blackburn (another midtable side with nothing to play for) today and have gone to Stoke, their run in is against teams above them. Villa & Forest at home, Leeds & Norwich away, Bristol at home, Preston away. They’re not good enough to get through that lot and stay in the mix and there’s too many other sides in that mix that are better and have better run ins.

I commented after the villa game that they would go on a run when they get Grealish back and looking at their fixtures and their need for points right up to the final games they are definitely the king maker's of the league
