What a load of drivel.

Basically saying that these 2 players, need to get away and be playing at a higher level than us, if they are to achieve anything.
Actually being spouted on footballleagueworld, although posted on f/b.

Fleck had a chance to move to a higher division before joining us so no story there........ Once Lavery can string 6 games together without breaking down then we can all judge him.

Strange story really

Clickbait wankers. They'll just dream up any old shite. It's that 'football league world' website.

Someone called 'Rickbert' posted this comment on the article:

"Try harder, moron. SUFC is the perfect place for Fleck right now and he's only just signed. Lavery hasn't even been fit. Got a couple of clicks from me though, well done - I thought there'd be some garbage that I have to point out."

I could've posted exactly the same, word for word.

Rickbert :D

Fucking shittiest website , hate these know nothing wankers
The shit that site and similar Web sites come up with is unbelievable , they know funk all, why do they bother spouting utter shite.

Smacks of struggling journalist seeks to create a non-story. In real time these players have only just joined SUFC. How on earth can a 'story' like this even begin to gain acceptance on these terms? Maybe if either had been here for 2 or 3 seasons and we'd been stagnant, but Chris Wilder is building a side, not seeking to dismantle one, so again it all points to shit stirring journo with nothing better to do than make statements that have no foundation whatsoever. The editor of this site should be ashamed for allowing such bollocks to be printed.

The editor of this site is probably quite pleased we are all getting worked up about it.

More clicks = more advertising revenue

Ignore these clickbait wankers.

Exactly. The more shit they write, the more apoplectic clicks they get. I bet they've got a massive fucking Uber advert that you can't avoid clicking on as you scroll down on your phone.

I wouldn't really describe it as drivel or even bad journalism, it's really nothing.

These bullshit websites are basically just big robots filling up webspace. There are freelance writing jobsites like 'upwork' where you can find all these employers advertising for hard up copywriters who are looking for petty cash to write generic crap.

The guy who wrote this probably got an email that said something along the lines of:
"Article: information about Sheffield United players.
Objective: suggest two players that could play for better teams and why.
Tone: professional but familiar.
Word count: 250
Pay: £10"

It would be an irritating article if it were written in earnest, but I've always thought of 'clickbait' as at least something bashed off by a troll looking for attention. If you do count this as clickbait, they're fishing with plastic maggots.

I've given you a like just for finally admitting Lavery was injured Herrruthers.

The answer to the question is of course McNulty and Long but write that article and everbody goes 'yeah' and not bother to follow it up.

I actually thought that it might be you giving that idiot some stick, and then I remembered that your alternative handle is Bertrick.

If a shitty article is split into separate pages after the first few pointless lines, this is clickbait. They profit by encouraging you to see more adverts by loading several pages instead of just one. Do not click it, no matter how enticing its promise that it will save you money, allow you to become rich from home, that you just won't believe what this college girl did next, or that 98% of Mensa candidates got this wrong. It will all end in disappointment.
