What’s Your Lineup Against Swansea?

I need to know what player you have been watching when it comes to Brewster, bloke makes a couple of tackles as a sub and suddenly he’s the starting striker over a player who’s finally a massive presence up front. Moore’s goal record speaks for itself, it’s not a fluke, Brewster goal record also speaks for itself, that’s not a fluke either

I’d be very reluctant to change the back four in any way , but your thoughts on the other changes are almost word for word the ones I was about to post . Thanks for saving me the trouble. :)

Re: the back 4.
I agree. I wouldn't tinker unless necessary, it's just a hunch that Gilchrist's fitness levels might dictate a change in there.

Could also do with the boys showing some discipline in these last couple of games before the international break.
It'd be tragic if we go to Leeds without Souza, Hamer or Anel.

What's he got to be proactive about?
We don't conceded, we are in the play off spots and we are the last unbeaten side in the league.
O'hare and Moore (if dropping them is what you're getting at) are part of the press, the energy and the defensive stability that we've finally found.
Think that originally came from me mate. What I was getting at was you still need to change a winning side sometimes for whatever reason but it’s a brave thing to do because he’d get pelters if we lost.

Sometimes therefore it’s easier to go “same again” and only change the side if we lose i.e when it’s too late

Despite our unbeaten run I feel after the last two games that it needs freshening up a bit tonight. Couple in who know a good performance will retain the shirt and a couple out who will think, I need to up my game a bit.

That’s the formula of a successful side

likely to be same back 4 but i would like to see seriki given a chance at right back and maybe hamer starting alongside souza with brooks and rak saki out wide

Even without any injuries there'll be some changes when 3 games in 7 days. Yellows could be an issue. Shackleton and Brooks to start one of three. Campbell too maybe. Brewsters better from the bench. Moore not starting would need some adjustment with two up front imo .

Agree mate ,having a small squad we have to be careful. Getting cards for non football reasons is bloody stupid .

Unchanged lineup for me, for all the faults/criticisms (RE: Moore, O'Hare) you don't change a winning team unless you absolutely have to.

Would like to see subs (mainly Brewster and Brooks) come on a bit earlier tho, especially as we have another game on Saturday.

Not happy about it. But this is CW. No change. He’ll live with suspensions. The only thing he will do is try and play Brewster at some stage to prove a point.

Can't believe he's left our most out of form player , O'Hare , in the team and then dumped JRS who was ok at Pompey

Well that lineup shows how much I fucking know 😂

I think Wilder is hoping that the added mobility of Campbell up front will stretch them more and open up more space for O'Hare. Will be interesting to see if it works, and O'Hare is definitely under pressure to do better.
