What’s Your Lineup Against Swansea?

There will be rotation throughout the season, it is inevitable, but I can't see much happening tonight. Maybe Brooks comes in for Rak-Sakyi or O'Hare, but even that would surprise me. The team is getting results and largely dominating games. Everyone knows we need to start scoring a few more but that will come, I have no doubt.

As for Brewster, I really want him to become a genuine back up for Moore, but as things stand he is doing a decent job in his cameos, and Moore is a proper workhorse who should be able to slog it through to the international break. Leave it untouched for the time being.

I think Swansea will have a fair amount of possession, and that might help our counter game. I’d keep the same XI for the first half, and take a view at HT.

I think it makes sense to rest Moore for one of the upcoming games. He won't get a break during the internationals so we might end up running him into an injury we could have tried to prevent

The sign of a top class manager (and m a big Wilder fan by the way) is to be pro-active not reactive. Although we are picking up points it’s about knowing when to make changes, sometimes you have to make brave calls knowing that if he made a couple of changes and we lost tonight everyone would be saying he should have kept the same team.

My view is that it’s probably the right time for a couple of tweaks tonight. A settled side is all well and good but complacency can set in.

Something in my head says that Brewster should start tonight plus a slight change in formation to accommodate Brookes.

Anyway I truly CW to make the right calls

I think we’ll go unchanged.

I’d like to see Brewster get a few more minutes after his positive contributions recently.

If I was picking the side I would probably rest O’Hare, bring Brooks in and play Hamer in the 10 behind Moore initially. O’Hare, Brewster and Campbell to come on for the last 25/30

I think we have to try playing Rak-Sayki and Brooks in the same game, with Hamer in the middle. Tactically I’m not 100% sure Swansea is the right game to do that, but I think it’s inevitable we see that lineup at some point.

With the exception of the QPR game, in which Moore actually scored, our lack of goals haven’t yet hindered results; other draws were respectable in my opinion - that being said, I’d keep him in, for his value to the 3 behind him. At some point though, if carries on not scoring, a change may have to be made.

I would like to see Oné make the bench. I know he’s probably a mile off technically and tactically, but if we ever need to really stretch a game, I can’t think we’ve got many other options, in terms of a player of that profile.

You could use that argument for other players, Hamer?
If O'Hare needs dropping because of current form ok but because somebody saying he's tired? Running him into an injury? Really?
As I say if you would drop him for these reasons why not Hamer, is it because he's a better player, 😏

Cooper

Gilchrist Anel Souttar Burrows

Souza Shackleton

JRS Brooks Hamer

Campbell

Peck has already played 2 games in a week, don't ask too much of him straight up. He can come on after an hour. Having Shackalele in there means Souza will need to take some more responsibility in possession but both CB's can pass the ball so maybe one of them takes more opportunity to step forward with the ball.As good as Hamer could be centrally, he's providing great output from the left and his understanding with Burrows is growing. With Brooks coming in as a direct change for O'Hare, leave that combination together. Let Brooks have a free role and let him run at defenders centrally. Most of O'Hare's work has been wide left or wide right, let's see if Brooks can provide some balance and work in combination with Campbell and possibly take the opportunity to run in behind. This is one of the home games where the intensity is likely to be a bit lower so it's probably a good one to bring Campbell in for.

Saying that, it'll likely be the same team or it'll just be Moore out for Brewster/Campbell

I'd play Brewster with Moore and rest O'Hare, make us 442 or 433 with Rak saki or Hamer when on the ball. Get us on the front foot

Moore will be playing for Wales. Hamer won't be playing international football. Pretty simple answer.

I Was Actually Thinking About Shackleton

Cooper
Gilchrist, Souter, Anel, Burrows
Rak-Sakyi, Souza, Peck, O' Hare
Hamer, Moore

Can Chris be a proactive manager ?
We'll find out tonight.
What's he got to be proactive about?
We don't conceded, we are in the play off spots and we are the last unbeaten side in the league.
O'hare and Moore (if dropping them is what you're getting at) are part of the press, the energy and the defensive stability that we've finally found.

Sometimes I get to hear the line up before announced. Unfortunately not today (thus far)

So I’m going with:

Usual back 5
Peck, Souza
Ruck Sack, Hamer, Brooks
Moore

I Was Thinking About Starting A YouTube Channel Similar To The Shoreham View Without The Bloody Prince PR Unlike Jimmy Ramble But I don’t know if I’ll get views

Gilchrist keeps coming off at 65/70 mins, so it might be too much for him to do 3 games in a week.
I'd consider Shackleton or Seriki to give him a well earned break.

At the top of the field, something needs to change as we're not creating much from open play.
I'd shuffle the pack and put Brooks on the LW and bring Hamer inside in place of O'Hare.

....................Cooper
Seriki....Souttar....Anel....Burrows
...............Peck.....Souza
....Brooks....Hamer.....JRS
....................Moore

Subs: Davies, Shackleton, Robinson, RND, McCallum, O'Hare, Marsh, Brewster, Campbell.

I'd like to see Brooks and JRS rotating within games and even doubling up occasionally and overloading one side of the pitch.
Hopefully by having a left footer on the LW we give Moore some opportunities to attack the six yard box.
Despite all the criticism, he's had little-to-no service from wide thus far.

Just a little more fluidity out of our front 4 and I think we could be far more effective.
Let Hamer go wherever he wants and be the extra man. As good as he's been, I think he could wield even more influence in games if freed of defensive duties.

I’d be very reluctant to change the back four in any way , but your thoughts on the other changes are almost word for word the ones I was about to post . Thanks for saving me the trouble. :)
