We trying to hang some one before the trial here or what.

How about blame the useless cunt who wont invest in training facilities. Not upgrading pitches that replicate the god given Deso of the lane and not cripple our staying 11 each week.

Too many performances like the first half the other night ,even if we get in the play offs you couldn't rule out another one

If we don't do its because the players have let themselves down too many times

You’re not allowed to mention that though…..

People keep pointing to that Reading game as THE game that could cost us and in isolation you could almost accept that. A bit like the Millwall game in the promotion season…..we were all absolutely gutted after that game but at least you expected us to bounce back.

The big difference is, that Reading performance wasnt out of the blue, its was a carbon copy performance of several others this season.

IF we play like we did in that second half, we’ve got half a chance in the play offs. We cant afford the lacklustre first half performances against the better sides.

Do you need reminding!!! Two perfectly legit goals at Blackpool folks - end of debate.............

Guess ‘we’ (some folk) are running out of scapegoats what withNorwood being consistently good + & now JLT (should that be Jackie Hammer Head) now receiving (briefly / temporarily) adulation🤔
Personally I still reckon Montgomery is to blame

This goal will have no part to play in why we fail, if we fail.

2-2 PNE
2-1 Reading
1-0 Blackpool
0-0 Hull

Among many other points we've dropped will be to blame.

We were an absolute disgrace at Millwall and Stoke too.

everyone of the clubs round us will point to 5 or 6 games where they've let their cause down
boro have blown points Blackburn were miles ahead of us. Millwall have blown hot and cold and Luton if they lose at Fulham will.drop below us.

it's the championship. its tight
we have done well to have the chance at all with the mass of injuries we have suffered

Boro won't have it easy at Preston

Just looked and Boro now 3-0 up v Stoke so GD now only 1 worse than ours. If they win last game and we only draw against Fulham then we are level on points and so goes to GD. That unfortunate "slip" that gave them a goal might be crucial.
Surely a joke

Jesus Christ

Looking back at single incidents or even games and relating them to the present situation is ridiculous.

If things had gone differently in the past, then everything after that would have been affected.

A bad loss can motivate a team to a series of wins, whereas a stale draw, while providing a point on the day might result in a lower total in the long run.

Professional sport is played in the present - not the past and certainly not the future.

Ill blame MGW if we fail.. them sitters against Bournemouth!! Waste of a loan him

Hold me to this

If anyone attributes a potential playoff position fuck up to Fodders then I'm leaving this forum.

The timing of goals can change games but It doesn't work out like what people might think that.

Daft as it sounds Wes's slip might have won us the game.
Boro expecting a tough game, then are gifted a 1 goal lead.

The goal might have relaxed Boro too much giving them an over confident and complacent mindset
....some of their players might have been thinking "we've been gifted a goal so now if only we can hold on to our 1-0 lead"

Where as the Wes blunder might have focussed the minds of our players with a sense of anger ....forcing us to be positive and "go for it".

Once we acquired that single minded "we need to come from behind" mind set...we just kept it going.

We were already winning though

If we do miss out I'd probably point to 3 ridiculous refereeing decisions rather than a keeper who has been excellent. Bournemouth away penalty given to them for a foul six yards outside the box, penalty not given against Bournemouth for a kung-fu kick on mgw and Norwoods disallowed goal away at Blackpool.

Hate VAR but it clearly overturns all of those decisions and we'd still be in with a shot of automatic promotion going jnto the last game

I’d be more inclined to blame West Brom, cov, Blackburn away or any of the half dozen last minute goals we’ve conceded at home

That last minute goal Stoke popped in at Boro' yesterday might be a life saver for us regarding gd,now that would REALLY piss Wilder off !! 😀
