They lull you in with a false sense of security don't they?

First of all they pop around during the "dating period" and dress up like a Victoria's Secret model whilst rustling you up a nice steak and ale pie to eat.

Then they're giving you gentle massages and bring you a couple of cans of McEwans export lager whilst you slob on the sofa watching that VHS video of Goals On Sunday from 1989.

Before you know it you've made the fatal mistake of proposing, then all the tables turn quickly.

The steak and ale pies are gone, only to be replaced by mouldy bread and cheap cheese.

The Victoria's Secret lingerie look is replaced by something that looks like a bag of sausages strung up in a butchers shop window.

Of course us men never let ourselves go, and we always look honed and delectable for our good lady friends
