We're lucky we've got Gary Sinclair

The only ground announcer with any personality and a genuine affiliation for the club. Doesn't deserve half the shit he gets on here.
Maybe he should become a glum, miserable moaning bastard in fitting with the rest of the stadium on most match days.

And every time he plays a good tune he could add at the end "well, that was rubbish"

He's big mates with Basham and McNulty.........

Today's announcer also seemed to be wearing an office shirt and waistcoat, like he'd just stumbled out of Maggie Mays for a fag after a good round of butt bouncing with sundry similarly attired middle managers. It was bloody freezing !

On a kind of related tack, how tin pot and out of touch with the rest of civilisation do you need to be to have your Row A at the BACK of the stand ? I was gutted :)

To be quite frank who cares what the stadium announcer does or says?

All that matters is what's on the pitch.

Can't say I ever listen to a word he says, and the music is white noise interfering with my conversation. But I'm sure it boosts the atmosphere, such as it is.

If I don't have a pint in my hand when the stadium announcer is on, all sorts of shit has gone wrong with the universe!

Maybe they should hold a " Stadium announcer " competition eh? I'm sure Gary Sinclair would be in the top few.

Its only when i go to away matches espically wembley. In play off finals & fa cup semis when they bring both sides out to gee up there own fans. that i realise how lucky we are with Gary Sinclair as hes up there with Liverpool guy. As he knows us & everyone else is some rent a microphone.
