Bookies tend to agree with you. Blades are clear 4th favourite next season behind Watford ,Norwich and WBA ( no price on Udders yet).

I wouldnt pay too much attention to that when we were under Slav and down the bottom they still had us 6th fav with terrible odds.

Thing is with us you never know. Last years pre season and recruitment was a disaster and we seem to be behind the curve again due to uncertainty over ownership. It would be nice to start a season with owners sorted, signings made early and a decent pre season. Then and only then could you predict what we might or might not do.

If Berge stays and hits form, if Brewster recovers and hits form, if McBambie Stuart’s playing and scoring as he did at Swansea, if Bogle comes back fit and playing as he can, if JOC comes back, who knows?

Cant see anything positive re takeover being sorted in next few weeks so we have to assume we go with what we’ve got less MGW. By that time prime time for transfers and loans will have passed and a settled squad with a full pre season looks unlikely.

Not owners fault or Management but circumstances against us. All we can do is try and keep last seasons last 5/6 months going.

Ndiaye could replace MGW as the player behind the front two, but he needs to work on his decision making and final ball over pre-season. He's still a work in progress but at least he's got a season under his belt now to draw on. We need strikers more than anything as we have Sharp (36), McBurnie (what are goals?), Burke (I can run fast) and Brewster (still to fulfill potential).

It will take a hefty fee to bring in a proven goalscorer permanently, so we'll need to play the loan market smartly to find someone who can come in, start most matches and hit the back of the net frequently.
