I see Sunderland are doing their Trafalgar Square takeover again and we have use of an already sold-out Box Park.

For the rest of us, what's the plan...?

How are you getting down there, what time will you be arriving and more importantly, what pubs will you all be going to?

Interested to know folks plans as still making our own decisions.

I’m getting down there on Friday night. It would be good to know where people are gathering in Central London before heading up to Wembley.

Train from Retford to KX at half 8am Saturday.

Tube from KX to Moorgate.

A few pubs there including a spoons, then we get on the metropolitan line. It takes 25 minutes to Wembley park, less people will go there as it is heading east, but more importantly it's on metropolitan line.

I’m busy hatching a plan to get Trafalgar Square closed off next weekend

Careful with Moorgate. Can be really quiet at the weekend as many pubs only open for the midweek workforce.

Trafalgar Square to shout Blade songs and hang a Blades flag off Nelsons bellend

On the 09:26 from Donny. Going to do the usual and head to the Globe first off (a surprising amount of pubs in London don’t open that early). Will see how it goes there, but plan to move on some point, either towards Marylebone station, or down into Marleybone and do the Barley Mow.

Probably get the Met line from Baker Street at around half 1 and get into the ground early ish for the ‘atmosphere’.

Back on the 19:48 to Donny. Depends on the result etc as to what happens after.

Club coach down on Saturday morning, not a Scoobies what I'm doing after that! On me tod and not drank before a game at Wembley before (only been once and was too young to drink)

Had a look at the pubs on the east side of the ground, may get the tube instead but would prefer to stay near the ground so I'm not whittling about getting back in time for kick off

Who'd want to take over Trafalgar Square? It's a f*ckin' shithole. F*ckin' weirdos.

It'll take a lot longer than 25 minutes to get from Moorgate to Wembley Park. City is dead at weekends. You'd be better off drinking around King's Cross itself.

Cheers for advice guys! I just follow the orders.. fs 🙄

Why is it embarrasing for fans to gather before the game and drink in one of London's biggest squares? Yet somehow it's not embarrasing for our fans to gather in a corporate 'box park' that doesn't let you in without a ticket?

I'm not going but if I were I'd be happy to gather with other Blades fans in a Leicester Square, Trafalgar Square or Covent Garden and sing a few songs. I would be avoiding the 'Box Park'.
