nothing was wrong, two blokes walking up the road drinking cans of pop. the bloke had his stall set out before we got up to him. as you said today - whatever happened to the customer service element - 'sorry sir (or even mate) you cant bring that in the ground....' not FINISH THAT! he was spoiling for it from the moment we approached the turnstile and he was the aggressor, not you. it was totally premeditated, an easy target - would he have picked on the bloke who came over and advised us about refunds??? very much doubt it. even the police were embarrassed. it was a total and utter sham, total stitch-up.

no it's not foxy you're right.. thanks for the support much appreciated btw.. but it's kind of a point of principle.. i nearly got chucked out of wembley for calling quinny a 'pointing ginger c***'.. the irony of course is that i am a ginger.. like i say some people have no sense of humour.. i think i've had it anyway 'cos i sent the direct debit form off this morning!.. funny thing is that now i have cancelled the seat in the office it will probably get really messy.. they'll probably ask me for another seventy quid for missing the deadline.. anyways cheers all .. we'll be back next year

can't say i agree with many of super pig's postings on here. However, it sounds like he has been spoken to / treated like a piece of shit here. Is it worth contacting the club? Will they actually do anything about it ( as they treat the fans like mugs anyway ).

Super - I assume you didn't know you weren't allowed to take your can of pop in? If so, why when told you cannot come in with it just step back and sup it or chuck it in bin rather than saying 'is he havin a fukin laff?' It's the rule mate, you aint allowed cans in and he was telling you - that's his job.

Complain about the steward to the club. This idiot's attitude is becoming all to common. They get to wear a hi-viz weskit and think that it comes with military powers, up to and including invading small countries. On the odd occasions I have spoken to stewards over the last season they have been as helpful and useful as a kick in the bollocks. Writ to the club and let them know what happened. Hopefully they will sort something out for you.

mic .. a little context required..what happened was that the can was in mid air to the bin and i made an off the cuff comment intended to defuse the situation.. it was delivered with a large grin and was in no way threatening.. unlike the steward who jabbed me in the face like a 12 year old
he'd basically backed himself into the corner and wouldn't back down, especially when the police became involved

thanks to everyone who has offered support in this difficult period. i seem to be getting picked on this weekend.. some old bat was giving me the rods for parking in front of her house and telling me i couldn't park there.. then some bird in the dram shop at walkley wouldn't accept a debit card for anything less than 8 quid (yes 8 .. fucking random or what).. i need to get my haircut.. people don't pick on me when i look 'meaner' (seriously)

Glad to hear about the happier ending, its about the only positive I have heard about the blades in days. Sorry to hear about all the trouble in the first place though.

I think you hit the nail on the head in a previous post where you said pup is jinxed. My experience wasn't quite as drastic as yours, but I sat with hm once in that corner and although we didn't incur the wrath of the stewards, it left me scarred for life.

He told me that I moaned about our team even more than he did and in fairness, we weren't very good. At that time, he was vitriolic on VP and BU on anything SU, he made len look like a club lackey. I'd never have thought I could outdo pup on the negativity stakes and I've never been the same since and that was about 2002. Stay well away from him is my advice ;-)
