Bad day at the office and only lost 1-0 to the league favourites. Not the end of the world is it? I'm not worried, still plenty of time to bring players in as well. We go again next week. UTB

Gifted is a bit strong, having played at centre half for years those slow looping balls are a twat to deal with especially when you're going backwards, and more experienced keeper would have claimed that , but I can see the need for coady and a centre half, they beat us in midfield first half Clayton was the difference, but are they the favourite's (not a chance ) anyway other than that on another day would have beaten themWe've played away at the favourites for the league, gifted them a goal and limited them to two other shots in the game. Not our best performance but if that's the hardest fixture of the season and we deserved to come away 1-1 I don't think we have too much to worry about
Think you have overdosed on the idiot pills. Even a cursory glance at the previous 6 years provides plenty of embarrassing performances. Away at a team where 10 of their starting team individually cost more than our entire team and denied a point by nob head linesman and you think it's embarrassing? Seriously you are either a pig (don't think you are) or you are a complete dumbassYes, Boro were a decent, organised side without being anything special going forward, but man that was frustrating.
Pedestrian, predictable and in the main and a far cry from the type of stuff we're used to.
Whether we showed them too much respect or just lacked self belief, I really don't know, but something
Rushed passes, slow, lethargic movement, panicky play, heading when having time to bring it under control, waiting for a man to be closed down before attempting to pass to him, kicking it out when there's time to put a foot on it, all things that happened toneet.
Still love dem Blades though.
Still trust CW though.
Still above W*********y though.
Come on you red and white wizaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrds!!
Yes, but not at another Blade, and unprovoked, if you don't care to spit bile after that decision, get away from my Club.
If you don't know you are on the wrong forumBecause?
And the 'men' didn't have a shot on target of note their goal coming from an up and under and a keeper error plus we're was robbed of a deserved equaliser.Men against boys at times FTPE.
The gulf in class was apparent today, but what frustrated me more than anything was the way we ambled about.
It looked like we'd traded our 'go get 'em' approach to a 'we're Championship players now so we'll ease of and do it like the others do'
And the reason you think that HB?

The first half was embarrassing. The second was ok. They sat back and maybe allowed us to be ok, but towards the end we were a lot more like our usual selves.
Are you embarrassed about wilder still? The first half was embarrassing. The second was ok. They sat back and maybe allowed us to be ok, but towards the end we were a lot more like our usual selves.
Fair assessment. Far from an embarrassing performance. Should have had a point.Yeah, we got schooled for about 20 minutes in the first half. But did we fold? Far from it, the opposite in fact. Slugged it out well in that second half.
Not really able to impose ourselves on them, but did a good job cancelling them out after the break. Pretty much says it all that their defensive midfielder got MOM. Their Galacticos were made to look totally ordinary.
Just think, when Bournemouth went up into this division three or four seasons ago, they lost their first two away games, 6-1 and 5-1.
Not at all. I think they did to us what we did to most of our opponents last season.Men against boys at times FTPE.

Lost to the better team on the day, but embarrassing? Really? No grey areas in S2 eh?
The only embarrassing thing was the official's badly wrong decision on the "offside" goal.
Was frustrating because we are better then that. First half we had no confidence on the ball and our defenders often took the easiest option of pumping it forward. That's not our strength. The goal was annoying, two individual mistakes. Blackman showed his experience. For me with more in net we don't concede that.
.
It was a great diveNo mate, the most embarrassing thing of all was the blatant fucking dive to get the free kick. Yes the offside call by the Lino was badly wrong but fucking hell, are you telling me everyone on here cunting the linesman off for cheating is in favour of swan dives by players? If that had been a boro player there'd have been all fucking hell break loose on here tonight.
Kinell FP (and everybody else) I'm not saying it was like the last 6 years, I am saying that all the great stuff we normally do was missing today. All the hype and going for the record successive win, and measuirng ourselves against the best this division has to offer to see how we might compete.
The truth is we didn't. We didn't even really huff and puff that much either. I, for one, won't be going round to my Wednesdayite neighbour and saying something like, "see, told you we play some great stuff" Truth is, we were lack lustre and made far too many simple mistakes which for me, with the world watching to see our 100 point champions, was a little bit embarrassing.
