Looking forward to the meltdown when three arrive
Probably three we have not heard of !Which 3 though?
We haven't shown interest in anyone publicly, except Vieira who had already agreed personal terms. Most of who we've shown interest publicly have gone elsewhere. Just wondering how many of these would have joined us before season started.
I hope JS and Board still have decent target's in negotion and work for the good cause full weekend if necessary. We don't have to play this season in 'Hard' or 'Heroic' -mode, even if it fits our image.
And sell to whom? There’s not billionaires just waiting to pick us up in the Championship. If we ain’t got doe then penniless Prince needs to do one. We need to spend or we spin into championship for another decade.
My bad, I was naive and thought we had more going on than we did.We haven't shown interest in anyone publicly, except Vieira who had already agreed personal terms.
You're thinking of transfer rumours.
Spend I saidAnd sell to whom? There’s not billionaires just waiting to pick us up in the Championship.
So go shit or bust?Spend I said
If he didn't want to lose money he shouldn't have bought a football club.So go shit or bust?
The owner doesn’t have the money so we throw £20M for transfers on top of a £40-50M losses/season and if we don’t go up then so be it?
He said from the outset he bought us as an investment, so to make money. If he didn't want to lose money he shouldn't have bought a football club.
Been better off putting his money in an ISA then. Most football clubs lose money. He said from the outset he bought us as an investment, so to make money.
But the problem here is your expectation of him. He was never here to make significant losses and told us so. You need to find us a billionaire who doesn’t mind losing a decent chunk of it.Been better off putting his money in an ISA then. Most football clubs lose money.
I have no expectations of him and it is not my job to find prospective owners of our football club. If he bought a football club with the idea of making money more fool him.But the problem here is your expectation of him. He was never here to make significant losses and told us so. You said he shouldn’t have bought it if he didn’t want to lose money. That’s an expectation of him. An unfair one given he’d clearly said he was in it as an investment.I have no expectations of him and it is not my job to find prospective owners of our football club. Utter rubbish. Losing money as a football club owner is to be expected. Nearly all clubs run at a loss. If you don't want to bankroll a football club, don't buy one.You said he shouldn’t have bought it if he didn’t want to lose money. That’s an expectation of him. An unfair one given he’d clearly said he was in it as an investment.
Your problem with him is an unrealistic expectation that he’ll bankroll us which was never going to happen.
From all the available evidence we currently have, he’s backed the club as much as he could have without significantly dipping into his own personal wealth. Unfortunately the money at this point looks to have been wasted, but things can change in football.
Yeah we’re back here. The issue is your expectation. I don’t think there’s much to add.Utter rubbish. Losing money as a football club owner is to be expected. Nearly all clubs run at a loss. If you don't want to bankroll a football club, don't buy one.
Then he shouldn't have bought a football club should he?Yeah we’re back here. The issue is your expectation. I don’t think there’s much to add.
He bought a football club saying upfront he wasn’t here to bankroll us. That’s not rubbish, it’s a demonstrable fact.
With Lowe going out on loan and hopefully Burke as well Rammers going (plus a fee) Lunny gone Bryan released? Ampadu back to Chelsea Tyler going how much are we saving on wages ?
Bob as far as I am aware he has invested 20-25m into a product which is probably worth north of 100m. That seems like a pretty good return to me.Yeah we’re back here. The issue is your expectation. I don’t think there’s much to add.

You’d be willing to accept the risk knowing that could mean should it fail then at best mass sales including the kids, back to league one and at worse potentially going pop?
That’s not what I’m saying. And to be honest I’ve noticed you often putting words in others month on this forum, sensationalising their words and or or statements. So re-read before commenting on mine…or just don’t. Just hold off your keyboard, warrior. So go shit or bust?

Literally last season. Norwich.Be interesting how many times a team has got relegated with our last season's total and managed a decent season the year after with the same team. Must be rare. Surely we needed a rebuild.

When I say spend, it’s abundantly clear to anyone with a footballing brain, that to compete in this league we need the minimum of two experienced, box to box midfielders. One who can break up play and other who can create.
This will not send the club into the black hole of financial ruins that you are suggesting (that I said!) but give the club a fighting chance on a top six finish.
At it again….just because you don’t agree doesn’t mean we are wrong, I know that really difficult for you to contemplateOK.
Just so we’re clear what “If we ain’t got doe then penniless Prince needs to do one” actually means, how much are you suggesting should be up forward for fees and wages?
It may help me not putting words in your mouth.
You get very aggressive. At it again….just because you don’t agree doesn’t mean we are wrong, I know that really difficult for you to contemplate
If our chairman can not afford to invest in two new midfield players now after selling a player £10m over value, then we don’t have the right chairman.
as said, just do t comment because you more often than not get the wrong end of the stock, the shitty end!
I don’t think anyone apart from the real idiots and slashers believe we won’t sign anyone. It’s more about the level of those we do sign and how many we bring in.I think deep down we all know we won’t sign anyone, it would of all been done by now.
Be cool, man. Be cool.
