he seems to have more balls than some of the first eleven. fair play to the guy

Agreed and as I understand it they are very hairy and he regularly grooms them with a diamond encrusted comb so that the hairs line up together, neatly cradling his ovoid shaped jewels, keeping them warm and toasty, ready for action.

It's all there on Facebook if you look.

I think we wouldn't be so fed up, if on the website it hadn't said that the 'The defence was ready for the new season'.

Ready for what???

Have they been practising picking the ball out the back of the net, or standing looking at each other when the opposition have the nerve to come in our 6 yard box.

shame i don't do facebook.. perhaps i should set up an account.. status 'picking my nose'. status.. 'inspecting nose contents' etc :D

I do have a hunch that Brentford have said they'd be willing to let Dean go when they have their own targets in, and as such Nigel has been waiting for that.

I think if we can get him, Dean would be a quality signing. Obviously got promoted from League one & played nearly every game last season in a 5th placed championship side last year. Although he started on saturday i don't think he will be a regular as brentford have signed Bjelland from fc twente who i would suspect along with numerous other Bees fans will be at the heart of the defense throughout the season partnering Tarkowski. Especially as they paid 1.8 mill for him. Dean could be frustrated at a lack of playing time but apparently is a fans favourite & loves brentford. So it will be interesting to see what happens. Fingers crossed though.

I never dare to look at what is being posted on Facebook to Phipps and firmly believe both he and Adkins should keep well away. If they want feedback they should choose their supporters' group. If they wish to communicate they can do so by various means.

I read the fb thread with some trepidation but there was a full spectrum if opinion on there. The short Twitter exchange I saw was someone banging on about McEveley.

Generally though it's more balanced than that.

I think honesty and communication are fundamental and I think we're getting both.

If this board and this manager can't improve our position and secure the long term future of the club at a higher level then I don't know who can.

I agree it makes me cringe sometimes, think Jim is well intentioned but naive
