to Nigel Clough and the players tonight. Everything spot on. We're not brilliant yet, but if we keep on playing with that desire, tempo, mentality and consistency, we'll go up.

No mention of Negative Nigel, tsk tsk.....:o)

Ah, take it they think they're signing murphy then!?
Their arrogance never ceases to amaze me!

Who let him in? Hope they charged him double.

I know Scunthorpe didn't offer much but we were different gravy at times and does go to show that if you play with that intensity, desire and pace when going forward, we can beat teams who try to park the bus in this league very comfortably indeed, just why oh why we haven't played like that all season has to be the big question? My answers are 1- because Doyle hasn't played and you Doyle lovers don't think i'm slagging Doyle off and i'm saying he's been shite all season because i'm not, we just don't need his sort of player in nearly all of the games we play whilst in this league. 2- Steve Davies. I thought his all round game was absolutely brilliant tonight and was a joy to behold, especially with how many times he brought our midfielders into play, he was a key player tonight and will no doubt be an unsung hero just because of how many good performers we had. That was a lone strikers role of the highest calibre because they tried to kick him all over and he just got on with it, i can't give him any higher praise. If we'd have had him all season it could've been a different story but there you go, we haven't.

I thought we were excellent tonight. You can see why fans get annoyed at poor performances when we show how we can really play i.e. tonight. I thought everyone played great tonight but for me, the stand outs were Baxter, Flynn and Murphy.

Bring on the team with the worst goal difference in League 1 :)

Yes gray was there with someone else from pigsborough. He was in the directors box.
my son asked him if he was scouting anybody but he said no . My worry would be murphy as they
have been after a winger

Thanks for that, Blade58. No really. Apart from the illiterates on Radio Sheffield, I deliberately have as little contact with the pigs as possible. This link to their 'forum' reminds me of what delusional (looking at Murphy? Reight.), thick ('Llera is coming home'. Yeah, if 'home' is the dressing room.) embittered bastards they are.

Man after my own heart

He was there with Aldridge

And whilst he may say he's not on a scouting mission, the fact both of them attended for the second time in 3 games may suggest differently

Vast improvement from Saturday and a big step in the right direction.

Didn't think it was 4-0 performance, so hopefully more improvement to come between now and the end of the season.

Personally, I like the description of Baxter by one pig:- " Looks like a fat retired boyband member" :D

I thought we could have had five as well :)

Scunthorpe were poor last night, but we did not let them settle, kept the tempo up in possession and the pressure on when not.
