I know he can have his moments but well done Seth - putting that moaning, none renewing Blade, in his place. Can anyone who hasn't renewed start to argue about the number of season tickets sold?

Didn't hear it myself, how did the exchange go?

The gut came on moaning straight away and then began to explain how only 14000 season tickets had been sold compared to 19700 or so last year. He then stated he hadn't renewed and started to moan about the signings made - esp Walton and Kozzy - at which point Seth had a bit of a go at him about making easy swipes at squad players rather than regular first team members - in the end he basically cut him off. I think he was a bit peed off by him and with all the Blades who had been on moaning.

He also mentioned that he didn't blame Kenny for going as the deal he was offered was not good enough. Seth argued back and his next comment was similar to 'I don't want to speak about Kenny' - but you bloody mentioned it first you prat!

Ka-Pow!!!!!! Take that NRS.

I was going to ask, as a piss-take, if any pigs texted in "Heard owt about the takeover," as has happened every night for about the last 5 seasons.

I needn't have worried. 25 minutes in, a text from some bellend asking exactly that.

As a Blade, I find it embarrassing listening to the morons who ring up that show.

I agree - i'm pretty sure the minority of whinging fans are the ones who ring up and give us all a poor image. It probably makes better radio though.

I agree Bramley. It is extremely embarrasing at times. They make the club and supporters look like a right bunch of tossers because people will listen to that and generalise it as all United fans being the same. You get morons from all clubs ringing in but when they do it seems that they are more frequently United-ites these days.

I have nothing against negative opinions as long as they are constructive, or have something to back them up. But they just ring up and talk utter fucking garbage for the sake of having a moan. They reckon to understand football when actually they know very little, hence their inclination to complain about trivial subjects which dont get to the heart of real problems facing their club.

We all have a moan from time to time and get frustrated (I know I do) but blocking up the airwaves for any period of time, making yourself and your club look ridiculous in the process is just totally un-needed.

Its probably just RS staff ringing in acting as blades so it makes us out to look twats.

"I hate Blackwell"
"why?"
"he's rubbish"

repeat for 60 mins

After last season I can understand a degree of negativity amongst Blades, but, we only have to look five postcode areas away to see what happens when a club over extends itself financially!

McCabe may have his faults but he, and his staff, have steered the club through some very choppy waters of late. I don't think it is a secret that he wants out, but I see that he's trying to leave the club in safe hands rather than just desserting it!

I don't have a problem with anyone having a good old moan, it's a very British thing, but I wish when they did moan they also gave valid reasons, and some balanced, considered solutions!

BTW, I had to laugh on Monday night's RS when they interviewed Clinton Morrison, who, despite the Ja-faken accent, seemed a decent lad. But what sort of indoctrination do they caryy out at Swillsborough? Twice he said "Sheffield Wednesday are a massive club" LMAO - you're playing for a third tier team that can't pay its taxes!

I know I hate listening to the callers who apparently don't have two brain cells to rub together - and as I'm far away, that's about all I can do. Listen - or not.

On the other hand, those of you who are local could call in and raise the level of discourse, couldn't you?

;)
