Off out shortly but just a quick post to thank Blackwell for a great display of football.

Good team selection with width, no Quinn (but you morons, don't boo our players on to the pitch), Camara.

Some real promising signs - Defence got another game together and looked sound. Monty and Williamson look a good partnership. Camara shows what sadly Evans can't. Handerson proved we don't have to hoof it to him, and we had real width with players who want to take on their man, rather than loop it over their shoulder to Mr invisible.

I really enjoyed it today. More please Blackwell.

:)

You're forgetting one thing Alco, Bristol City were pathetic.

It was impossible not to win that game. I agree with your sentiment but there is not a cat in hell's chance of a result on Tuesday and the top 6 is highly unlikely. Only hope is Willo staying fit.

City's midfield was as bad as anything I have seen from us and the front two were laughable.

Hopefully we will not see Evans again this term. Ward and Camara play - we see a decent game. No surprise to anyone apart from Blackwell.

It was a gloomy day in the south-east corner of the Hundred Acre Wood, and in Eeyore's Gloomy Place : Rather Boggy And Sad there sat a pessimistic, melancholic, depressed, old grey stuffed donkey, looking like he'd won the Euromillions but lost his ticket in a queue for a Peter's Pie at the Lane that afternoon.

"Cheer up Eeyore" said Piglet. "Yes" said Pooh "The Mighty Blades have won today in a rather surprising display of attacking football, with the ball played on the ground and that."

"Fuck off, you cheery bastards" said Eeyore. "I wish we'd lost ten nil, and I wish Small Quinn had come on as substitute three times, so I could boo him three times."

Christopher Robin and Roo both turned their eyes to the heavens. "Eeyore is grumpy fucker today" said Roo. "Yes, he is." said Christopher Robin. "He's a grade A miserable bugger who couldn't even see the bright side to getting three points and a clean sheet. Let him wallow in his self-pity, surrounded by his recordings of Football Heaven and his Reg Brealey duvet cover. Now, will someone please help Pooh? The fat idiot's got his head stuck in the hunny jar. Again. He'll be getting it stuck up that tiger's arse next."

It was a good performance and to be honest I think it was one that alot of teams would struggle to compete against.

Bristol were poor but when they did get forward we defended well and kept them at bay.

We can only beat whats in front of us.
Yes Bristol were poor & yes we wernt the Arsenal U18 side either.
But at least weve shown signs of improvment.

Lets see if we can carry that through?
