I'm sure, in the midst of the disappointment and embarrassment, that we can find it in ourselves to give some praise to the opposition today.

It's not as if they only had one chance and we were camped in their half all game. I thought they took it to us and looked threatening for a lot of the game. A headed goal which was ruled offside and a fluff from a yard out - it could have been a bigger loss. I thought their support was excellent too throughout.

Say what you want about it being our second string but I thought non-league Barnet showed more today than some Championship teams over the last two seasons. Fair play to them, they got what they deserved. I hope their fans enjoyed their trip to the Lane and I hope that they get a plum draw in the next round.

We disrespected and devalued the Cup. As a consequence, we deservedly got turned over by the better team.
