Well done Alan Knill

you've posted some rubbish before, but this takes the biscuit.

United fans that give up their time and money to watch the squad week in week out, travel up and down the county, buy stuff from the club and care enough to post on message boards every day are happy to see us get relegated.

These type of posts always make me laugh. Yeah, Mic, myself and Lenners etc sit at the match and sectretly want United to lose. When we are upset, grumpy and pissed off after the game it is all a mirrage. Smoke and mirrors.

I'd stick to correcting people's spelling mistakes Mousey.

I never said anybody wants us to lose. I stated that people seem glad in a way so that they can carry on with pointless and boring stances.

I pay my money to watch United home and away just like other people. I have my own beliefs on what is best for the club but there is no need to bang on about it. I tend to share it with people who are willing to listen and digest them thoughtfully and objectively.

While I'm far from happy to see us relegated I don't feel the need to drone on and on about what I believe should be done. Nor do I jump at every opportunity to slate the club, but trust me, my opinion on Neill Collins is as extreme as anybody on here.

And if you think I post some rubbish before that's fine. Posting rubbish in the past is far better than peddling it continuously and systematically without deviation from a theme.

Not just funny but sadly accurate. They haven't made it depressing but have made it boring ,I must admit that I don't bother to read any posts by a couple of the 'supporters' on here.

Can I ask a serious question Sitters? Not taking the piss, or setting you up. Where do you see us in say 5 years time? Do you think we'll be up or down?

Now I'm far from a spring chicken, and I have seen it all before, but since the play off final defeat I think our decline has been alarming to say the least. I honestly can't see a single chink of light at the end of the tunnel and the way things are, the way football is, I really do worry that we could be defunkt in 5 years time.

The youth squad maybe give us some hope, but past and recent history suggests that we're the selling club we always were, so we shouldn't get too excited by it. We aren't seen as an attractive club, we don't get many decent footballers wanting to play for us so like I say, the way that money runs the modern game I really can see us bankrupt or just broken beyond repair before long.

Now if that's me being boring and repetetive I apologise. If that comes across as me being "happy" with our current plight, well you couldn't be further from the truth. Our current situation is as bad as anything I've seen in my 51 years and I hate it, as do most on here, or at least I hope they do because there really isn't anything to smile about at the moment, we really are at rock bottom and it's fucking sad.

You're not alone there Horace.
I was half serious about a merger a few weeks back because I currently see little future or point in SUFC.
I think there are some fans who, like the board, really don't realise the state the club's in - and that's not simply the playing side, it's the whole fabric of the club.
Going to be interesting to see what season ticket sales are as I've never known such disinterest in United.
Give it a couple of years in League One, S6 heading back to the Prem and you wonder if we're heading towards Notts County territory.

some of us 'moaners' on here have been predicting this for ages.. yet some of you still can't see it.. un be fucking leveable.. noone on here takes any pleasure in what is going on but if nathan blake can see we're a bag of shit why can't anyone else?

"S6 heading back to the Prem". Give over - they are in an even worse state than we are.

some even saw it mid promotion season and continued to see it henceforth

bit of the boy who cried wolf im afraid

No debts, ambitious chairman, team likely to be ready to go up comfortably next season.
Aye, they're so much more worse off than us.

agree totally judge.. personally i don't think the promotion team was anywhere near the team of the season before with brown, macall and co. but the league was much poorer that year

Eh?! Mandaric has little money by football Chairman standards and was criticised by Leicester fans for being tight and unambitious. As for the Pigs' team - they are currently shit - as their results and league position show. Even Megson said not one of their players would get in the Brighton team. Hardly the sign of a team "ready to go up comfortably next season".

I can understand people complaining about the state we are in - but bigging up the Pigs just to try and make our position seem even worse than it is, is simply pathetic.

Impossible to predict ,just as you wouldn't have predicted where we are now 5 years ago. We don't know who will be running the club never mind the team. My position is as a supporter who enjoys going to see Utd home and especially away but realises its a game ,not the end of the world ,I have much more important issues in my life and Sheffield United are a major release from everything else. I don't really mind what division we are in if truth be told or how many are there because I have had some of my best experiences in the 4th division and with small followings. I went to London for the weekend last week with some great mates and had a brilliant time even though I knew we would lose ,that doesn't mean to say I don't get angry or depressed because I do but there is a bigger picture. I was 'fucking sad' until I was on my 3rd pint in Ealing ,we are not Man Utd and I don't want us to be Man Utd ,I love Sheff Utd and I love everything being a Sheff Utd brings ,good and bad.
Just worry about being here in 5 years time ,some of us won't be.

You really haven't got a clue what's coming in the summer, have you.

Just 2 wins in nearly 20 matches is a bit pathetic.

I mean, even if Adam's had only won 4 or 5 matches while he had been here it would still be shit but atleast we would still be in with a really good chance of staying up.

The number of poor teams we have just rolled over for since Christmas is heartbreaking.

A bit pathetic?! Blackwell had one of the best win ratios ever, and was slated, Micky is getting away very lightly atm, I still blame the board more than anyone else, for all his flaws, Blackwells job was made near impossible with the board pulling the rug from under his feet every 5 mins

agree with you there norfolk, and it will always be the same whilst ever the shower of shit running the club are still here,it dont matter if the manager was morinho the tac tics of mccabe etc he would have been in the same position

That's how to start off your managerial career with a new side.

Smashing top of the league at home. After one game he has already got half way to doing what it took Micky Adams fifteen games to do (i.e. win a second game). How many games before a win for Micky? I lost count, 13?

There are (unfair) comparisons going on between an injury wrecked Sean O'Driscoll's team at Donny and Micky Adam's United. This is a better one for you. Alan Knill takes over a truly woeful Scunthorpe and gets a result. Ale house Adams cannot muster a win in a dozen games.

This is about Sheffield United (before the calls for it to be moved start). Adams, do us a fvour and fuck off. You are a proud Sheffielder and a Blade. Do what is best for us and resign. No compensation, no bollocks, admit it was a disaster and walk.

Did Alan manage to do that with the same team they,ve had all season as well olle???????

I know, I agree. I was always one of Blackwell's few supporters on here during last season when he was being treated worse than a puppy killing paedophile.
