Just say we don't improve massively by mid- October and we are therefore 12-14 games into this season and 15th ish in the league what do you think will happen to Weir??. Before the new co-ownership McCabe could never afford to pay Weir off but now the money has been put in and if we are in that position then which we easily could be, do you think the prince will be putting pressure on the make changes???

I dont think dp was suggesting we SHOULD be thinking about gettin rid of weir given that situation, seems he was asking what people think would happen given that we have a new co-owner. Personally I think he will be given time and if/when new signings are made it doesn't improve then the axe will be wielded.

Rumour has it, he's already been told the minimum expection for this season is playoff's, if he fails he'll be gone it seems :/

Id expect POs at least this season given that the new investor does not like to loose & will want some success for his input.
Its not like Weir didnt knwo this before the season began? Im sure the brief was promotion whilst cutting the wage bill? If we think about it, come the end of the season i think the wage bill may be higher?

My missus has got a phd in psychology but still writes of instead of have

I for one am excited at the fact we have new investment,as its been a long time coming.
It does however concern me that prince `Dave` may be one of these blokes that likes players of his own and will try to put his wish list of wanted players forward to DW.
Ive already heard a daft rumour today that prince`Dave` would like to sign Macheada from(man utd i think)on loan till january, then sign him up on a contract after the loan has expired.
All well and good. But it must be Dw wanting the players he wants-not the Dudley Dursley with his new toy signing the ones he would like.
I just hope that the relationship between new investor and manager doesnt get tangled.

I would say weir in a better position now the Prince is here.

Yes it would be terrible if we signed Macheda from Man Utd and Weir's men Taylor and Bunn didn't get a look-in. We can only hope against hope that doesn't happen. :)

I keep reading how Weir has inherited a terrible bunch of players and can't be blamed for our current league position. Is now a good time to mention that we never sank lower than 8th with essentially the same terrible players last season. Arguably the current squad is better but Weir isn't getting the best out of them.

Too soon to talk about changing the manager. Not too soon to be expecting an improvement on 17th position.
