i no he has a lot of fans and i was ...but lets be honest he is no where near good enough for the premireship...he lacks strength and unlike last season cant beat defenderes...theres no denying he has talent but im afraid hes a championship player and thats all

What i think it basically comes down to is how hard he wants to work. He doesn't seem to be hungry enough when he's on the pitch and gives up too easily. I do think he has the potential to hack it in the premiership because he has shown in flashes how good he is. And to score 3 goals while not playing at his best in the premiership isn't too bad.

i agree with you he that he dunt seem interested at time...n yes hes got 3 goals but lets be honest they where all scappy goal line finishes except 4 the newcastle one

I thought he'd do really well in the Premiership given more time on the ball to skin players, but because he's so lightweight he gets barged off easily. He's still a good player nonetheless, but at this moment in time I'd start Hulse and Nade upfront.

I would have gone with that too, but Webbers been scoring goals without looking interested. I think Nade's got to be a bit dissapointed too, scores a winning goal, didn't do much wrong and is dropped.

Well to be fair they were vital goals and without them we would probably be still in the bottom 3.

He has been with worht 5 points to us so far this season too.
I'm a fan of Webber, but his recent performances have not been to the standard of which we expect of him

I’m surprised that things have to be so black and white with some of the people with which I have had this discussion. “If he is scoring goals then he plays, otherwise sell him” seems to be a regular theme.

Why not just drop the kid to the bench, tell him it is down to him to work hard to win his place back; and ultimately to keep that place.

If he fails to do this and is unhappy with the situation then maybe selling him is best for all involved. I personally would be very happy to have a player like Webber to come on for the last 30 mins, and if he is firing on all cylinders I have no problem with him starting.

I still think he can do it at this level, I also think he should be dropped but I hope he remains a blades player until the end of this season at least.
