That view is a reason enough to live here…. sunsets are summat else and so is the snow! must be getting on for 18 inches.I used to live on Loxley View Road - number 34. Loved standing at the end of the road & watching the weather roll in.
Pissing out of the window??Got up for a pee at 4 am. Took this.

Pissing out of the window??
If that was the case it would be good for the club to do a package deal. Around the time of kid a quid to buy a ticket against Wednesday at home you had to buy the one after too at a reduced price I think it was Burnley in the promotion season. But if they did choose any 4 for £80/£90 or buy 5 get one free or something like that you may shift more but then the ticket office would need to be organised!
Agree. We moved to the top of Stannington View Road when we left LVR & I spent hours simply looking out of the attic window. That view is a reason enough to live here…. sunsets are summat else and so is the snow! must be getting on for 18 inches.
Out of those, Anel, Egan and Ndiaye are the key ones. Could they pretend to have Beattie flu?Luton will be missing 3 players max whilst we will have Davies, Egan, Anel, Baldock, Berge, Ndiaye, Coolio and Clark.
Love Crookes. Sledging on the Bolehills as a kid. Throw yourself down the slope next to Tinker Lane on a big sheet of plastic. Good times.Agree. We moved to the top of Stannington View Road when we left LVR & I spent hours simply looking out of the attic window.
Bonfire night was a particular highlight.
Sportbilly - take note in relation to your “what’s it like living in Crookes?” question on the Moving to Sheffield thread.
The rough & the smooth as decreed by Mumbo.
Definitely on snow moving away bright sunshine tomorrow come on you BladesOff then![]()
My concern would be that it's going to be minus temps over night, meaning any thaw turns to ice.Definitely on snow moving away bright sunshine tomorrow come on you Blades
That's too sensibleBe good if there was the option to move the match to Sunday if there is no way it can be played tomorrow.
Both us and Luton don’t play until Wednesday, so that wouldn’t be an issue, but I’m sure there would be another reason it can’t happen.
If it's deemed unsafe for fans can't we just play in a empty stadium? It's not like we've not got recent experience in that. Obviously less than ideal but so is a fixture pile up
