Could be a close run thing this one.

Up in the hills where I live, no-one is playing football until the big thaw comes later in the weekend. We have over a foot on the ground and the wind is now making it drift. Around Bramall Lane might be a different kettle of fish and if it does stop at lunch time and the sun comes out both today and Saturday morning, then both pavements and roads will be clear around the ground by lunchtime tomorrow for the most part regardless of temperatures.

Not even bothered trying to get off loxley view road -East/west orientation.220 m elevation.Snow coming in at 45 degrees and increasing.
I used to live on Loxley View Road - number 34. Loved standing at the end of the road & watching the weather roll in.

3 more games being rearranged will leave us in a terrific position

Agree....if tomorrow is postponed.....then we really could do with losing to Blackburn in the cup, however I expect us to win
Would be so typical for United to have a great cup run at a time when we have a fixture pile up.

It would be another HOME game that needs re-arranging with the WBA home game, when we play Blackburn.

In the last month of the season we will have 6 home games to play, it's going to be very expensive for non season ticket holders
and you would expect those matches to be lower attendances than they would have been, hitting the club in the pocket.

Pretty certain it will be off considering tonight's temperatures too. Might be 3rd next Saturday ffs.

If that was the case it would be good for the club to do a package deal. Around the time of kid a quid to buy a ticket against Wednesday at home you had to buy the one after too at a reduced price I think it was Burnley in the promotion season. But if they did choose any 4 for £80/£90 or buy 5 get one free or something like that you may shift more but then the ticket office would need to be organised!

The snow / ice will not go away with a bit of sun
Its going to be -6 tonight so it will freeze the ice will not melt in time for a 3pm ko
They will in all probability call it off either later today or first thing in the morning to stop Luton fans travelling

Could we potentially just play a game on the weekend of the international break? How many players are we likely to be missing? Could a few perhaps feign injury followed by a miraculous recovery?

Luton will be missing 3 players max whilst we will have Davies, Egan, Anel, Baldock, Berge, Ndiaye, Coolio and Clark.

It's been coming down in S12 like a twat all day, but we get it really bad here every single year and I have seen a few worse than this.

That being said, I reluctantly took the car out to the shops earlier and it was very treacherous on the roads. I was hitting the dizzy heights of 25 miles per hour on Bochum Parkway, which is normally fine in these circumstances, but was overtaking other cars. I was bloody glad to get back and get the car on the drive.

It was supposed to warm up quite a bit tomorrow from late morning, particularly in more central areas of the city. Will 6 or 7 hours of above freezing temperatures be enough to thaw some of this away though? Boro's game will be fucking on of course.
No chance it's on, surely
Will be interesting to see Stokes off tonight just as bad snow there as here

Looks like it's going to be a bitterly cold night.

Be good if there was the option to move the match to Sunday if there is no way it can be played tomorrow.

Both us and Luton don’t play until Wednesday, so that wouldn’t be an issue, but I’m sure there would be another reason it can’t happen.
Or play it indoor at the arena with a side comprised of legends from the 90's
