As an avid watcher of weather girls, I would suggest that most on here would not turn our Helen down, she has got a really fit body....please take note !
🙂🙂🙂
Don't get me wrong, turning Helen down wouldn't be something you'd find me doing.

Lucy Verasamy every day of the week. She is built for short, energetic bursts of speed that will leave you needing a lie down, vitamins, fluids and a cold towel laid across your face afterwards.

Outside of that, there's something nice about Sarah Keith Lucas too.

pommpey
Can't believe I've so remiss as to forget the biggest of shout outs for Verasemy. An absolute favourite, not just amongst weather girls either 👌

I think the main concern would be if water was forming puddles on the surface - not sure even the underground heating would deal with it.
Do you remember pitches in the 70's, like the Baseball Ground, when there was a sea of mud and puddles of water, when the ball sometimes got stuck or slowed right down in the puddles. I think that they even had to send the groundsman out to re-paint the penalty spot at Derby before a penalty could be taken, because it had completely disappeared.

Now the whole ground has disappeared, mores the pity.

Back on topic, I don’t see why it would get called off as theres no fans health and safety issues. Cover the pitch on sat before it snows, stick undersoil heaters on, uncover just before they go out to warm up early Sunday evening.

It’s not going to be called off, weather forecast isn’t even that bad. ⚔️

In all fairness the weather can change significantly between OP's post and Sunday and indeed it has already. It looks like light snow, for a few hours now. Not the heavy all day snow as first reported.

Played on it in late 60's. Thought I'd stepped into quicksand when we ran out on to it!

If we spot any of their guys wearing gloves, we'll win!

I bet none of ours wears gloves apart from Rammers!

Could be wrong but I'm sure Joe Corrigan tried pacing out where he thought the spot should be (before the fella with the tape came on) and promptly got booked for his trouble ?

IIRC Joe Corrigan was quite a tall fella. Twelve of his steps would take you to the halfway line

Grounds not in Bradfield it’s in valley int it tha knows so don’t worry thee sen it’ll be on so stop tha whining tha sounds like daft cockneys tha does
