Heckingbottom always comes across as someone who'd be very happy to just make the play offs

He has the look of a man who’s boss said his results don’t count

Oh wait that’s actually what they said 🤷‍♂️

Look, everyone. Please stop bullying Fallowfool. All it will accomplish is getting Foxy in trouble.

If the question is would you like a proven manager who has gained multiple promotions and shown how to keep a promoted team in the premier league then the answer would be Dyche

If the question is do you want a manager who has no previous experience of getting teams out the championship and couldn't inspire a wet fart then its Hecky

FACTS
NOT FACTS. You can make up irrelevant shit and post it, but that does not make it fact. PH already has an excellent managerial record at Sheffield United.
You, on the other hand, have the reputation of a petulant teenager who demands instant success. You are a perfect example that defines the term, “Entitled”. You have grown up being told that you can have anything you want because you are from that generation led to believe the nonsense you spout. Did you get an award for coming last in everything at school?
Time for you to grow up properly and gain some experience of real life.
I normally have a lot of time for young people, who have grown up with a good understanding of what real life is. You are not one of them. You are a lost boy, let down by a failed system.

Again it was wilder who chose to leave he wasnt sacked

Wilder and the prince discussed plans for the season after relegation and what wilder wanted wasnt met if we had have kept wilder we would have gone straight back up

The prince said no signings only loan players and we will sell Berge/ramsdale if the valuations are met

Which again is why slav was sacked because he wasn't backed and we appointed a manager who was the youth manager

Those are FACTS go re listen to the wilder/prince interviews at the time
Those are your interpretation of events. Your take on a narrative designed to suit you bullshit. They are certainly not facts.

The difference between Championship and PL is that if you turn up at a top six club as a smaller club, pack the midfield out, work hard, etc you’ll still get beaten 9 times out of 10. United aren’t Man City. Any top six Championship club can be drawn with or beaten given the right tactics by a side lower in the league

Did United lose 9 out of 10 in the first season when in the Premiership ? I think not.

No mate wilder said he would leave if the plan wasn’t stuck too

Prince said on one of the united podcasts that there were no permanent signings

Read between the lines

Our form since the break has been 12 points from 10 games after 23 from 10 prior to the break.

Pretty much completely undone our good start with almost relegation form.

Hopefully we can muster one win at Cardiff. With Blackburn and Burnley playing each other, a win at the weekend will at least see us in second spot.

Then when we'd return I'd hope we have most of our best XI available.

To me, that is:

Wes
Ahmedhodžić Egan Norrington-Davies
Bogle Norwood Doyle Lowe
Berge McBurnie N'Diaye

We'll have to take, hopefully a less rusty, Robbo over Norrington-Davies. Baldock will probably start to ease Bogle back in. But no reason if well looked after, that the rest of the best XI can't be fit for Huddersfield.

Ok, slight question over McBurnie and his hernia recovery too but compared to the other day where we had half the outfield downgraded then it should be a lot more capable of that early season form.

This really is THE chance this season. It would be unforgivable to fuck it up, especially after the start we had.

Win somehow, anyhow at Cardiff then get the squad back over the World Cup and go again with the players who were smashing it at the start of the season.

Why should I read between the lines, when you have already done it, and jumped to a conclusion that fits your pre determined narrative?
That is known as ‘confirmation bias’.

You should really be asleep now. Friday is a school day isn’t it.

Our best team is obvious and it will get us promoted. Players like Clark/Baldock could break into that but how much will we see this eleven? Will they ever stay fit together for a prolonged period? If we are able to manage the wingbacks and midfielders with smart rotation in second half of the season then maybe, but the injuries have to stop or we’ll miss a great opportunity. It is so important that this trend under the current coaching staff ends after the World Cup break.

The problem with Tuesday's result wasn't that we struggled and in the end failed to break down a well drilled and determined defence but that it meant we lost at home to ....Rovrum.

A similar performance and result against some other mid table side would have been frustrating but nowhere near as deeply painful as losing to that gobby lot from just over there.

We weren't great but teams in this Division aren't mugs. We could have nicked a win and should have had at a least a point but for a foul up in our defence.

Try screaming at grown men every time they don't meet your expectations and see where that gets you
And yet, it's the only thing that's ever worked at Bramall Lane, in fact the more we go down the quiet manager, technical football route, the worse we are.
The number of managers that have arrived here with a reputation for playing good, attractive football, trying to encourage players to express themselves, but failed is astonishing.

The blame starts with the fans, they are typical Sheffielders, no ambitions, no dreams, no idea about the good things in life, including football, and success is for everyone else, we can't possibly achieve what Bournemouth, Palace, Brighton, Southampton, Leicester and 40 other clubs who have had better times than we have over the last 50 years,

This gives the boardroom a free reign to be equally unambitious.
This spreads all the way down to the field, players can do whatever they like, when they like, and if they don't fancy it, they toss it off. And it's okay, we beat Burnley last week and we're still third.

So, our only hope is the manager. At most clubs it's about the players, but at United it's always about the manager, if we have a complete bastard we can compete, we can compete with the Luton's and Watford's and 40 other giants of the game, but if we have a guy who trusts his players to do the right thing, we're fucked. The fans won't mind if we toss it off occasionally, so let's toss it off, the manager won't say owt either.

A few have said it on here before about the motivation within these players, United can beat anybody in this division, and they have done, every team that has arrived whilst top of the League has been battered, not just beaten......Battered.

But there is a certain level that United sink to that is mind numbingly shit, and that is illustrated by the above sentence, Reading, Blackburn and Burnley whilst top of the League got hammered, and yet even whilst getting hammered they offered more than a United team that isn't at 101% offer. We beat Millwall, Sunderland, Bristol City, Hull, and all of them offered more in those games than we offer when we lose.

If we are not absolutely bang on it we are are level of terrible that no other club can come close too. And that is a lack of attitude and motivation

Have you ever thought of becoming a motivational speaker?

As shit as Tues night was, we're 3rd with a great GD and have shown we can destroy teams.

And let's not forget we also lost matches we all felt we ought win when ruled by chest thumping loud bollock managers.

Let's all have a leffe brun 50cl and chill Winston.

I don’t think so.
Over two seasons we played the top six 24 times. We didn’t lose anywhere near 90% of those.
Away from home we played the top six 12 times. Without Google I can recall drawing at Chelsea, Arsenal and Spurs. Winning at Man U. We therefore failed to win over 90% of the time. I’ve amended my point to suit the facts, hope you don’t mind

For Fallowfield to say Hecky thinks that 'was Ok' is really taking that interview out of context.
Hecky made the point several times that we performed below our standards. He also said that 'as a group we were below our best'. He went on to add 'the goal we gave away was poor'. 'we did nt create enough opportunities, we cant make excuses'.
And Hecky is right we were below our best. If him saying all this is not calling out a crap performance I dont know what is. To say we have played one good game in 4/5 games is also a load of crap. In the last 5 matches we have picked up 10 points!!!!. we ve lost ONCE in 5 matches ffs. Some posters are never satisfied
This 'unispiring' (not my words) manager has got us to third in the league still with the chance of being top by Saturday. This with a team ravaged by injuries.
In this match ,NDiaye was marked out of the game. We were weak in Midfield, Osborn was no where near his Burnley performance. Macatee is lightweight. Norwood was closed down too often. Stevens is way no where near his best.
McBurnie did his best under the circumstances. He had a couple of opportunities that on another day would have gone in. Egan really should have done better with his attempt.
Lets not forget Rotherham defended well. The goal they scored was again down to poor defensive play on our part. They did a good job on us. They closed us down whenever they could and did it well .
But then again the we all know the OP (im sure hes Brian the Blades son), wants Hecky gone.
Raul's pick to Flagellate Fallowfield.
