Same story as usual we dominate the ball for the first 30 mins and spells after that without ever really threatening the opposition goal, though to Leeds' credit today I thought they defended well. But besides the Billy header at the end of the first half and Washington overheard kick did we miss any good chances? When we create the strikers we've got are all capable of scoring (take Tuesday night as an example). However when Duffy has an off day or is shut out of the game we need another creative spark to drag defensives around and beat a man. For all this teams' quality who do we have that can go past a man one on one Duffy and thats it. I'd sooner see Luke Freeman than Defoe in January.

Thought we were on for an okay point today can't be too harsh on Deano he's already saved us more points than he has cost us. Though I'd be disappointed as Lundstram and Washington not to start today after having to watch the shambles at Rotherham then themselves playing well on Tuesday.

Found one

To be fair, I think McGoldrick has massively eased that burden on the pitch. His contribution to link up play, sets things moving and has outstanding movement.

We do need another player to replace Duffy, i’d look at a loan in JTW as I can’t see that player out there and on the market.

If Mcgoldrick could shoot he would be worth a fortune.

We need Duffy to turn up and put a shift in more often than he does. He’s a waste of a shirt when he isn’t playing well because he doesn’t defend or seem to put much effort in.

Thought his all round effort today was disappointing. And that's being polite.

DMcG was similar first half last Saturday.

Could've probably had Freeman or Robinson in the summer if we really wanted them but now one's injured, one's signed a new contract and there's not an abundance of other stand out options. I doubt we'll be able to do anything too significant in January, but improving on that utter waste of space Woodburn should provide no challenge.

Mcgoldrick played the Duffy role better than Duffy today.

Here's what I said on another thread the other day which sums up my feelings nicely, especially after today.-
'I have a nagging doubt about our midfield Bruce. As pretty to watch as it can be, I just don't think it has the nous to deliver the killer ball at times. If we are serious about promotion we need a better wing back, midfielder, and striker, to make a difference. This won't be a popular opinion but Fleck, Duffy, and Norwood shouldn't be considered as certain starters indefinitely.'

McGoldick two good chances.

Someone on twitter reminded me of the good work Maddison is still doing at Peterboro.

Would seem ideal. Can also play LWB at a push.

The same thing happened during the League 1 campaign and also last season. Teams doubled up on him, stopping him playing. He's still one of the best we have. I believe he will have more good games than bad.
