played 21 and got 30 points - us and our tuna powered neighbours.
Personally I hope that we can still get our act together and convincingly make the play offs, and I bet we all wish that the S6 piggies fade into mid table mediocrity (better still worse). But will it be the other way round? Does anyone have any insights at this potentially pivotal and potentially irrelevant juxtaposition? I suppose it gets our relative positions in each league into perspective. Any thoughts?
 



My prediction is that we will end up much nearer the bottom than the play offs. They won't be getting anywhere this season either though.

Zach Clough (Bolton are doomed and after he rose to some prominence last season he needs to move on from a sinking ship)

Jamie Paterson (came to Forest from Walsall and looked raw and eager running at teams scaring defenders, scored an amazing hattrick against West Ham in the Cup...then with Forest changing managers every bloody 5 minutes and no stability he seemed to lose his way...now needs a kick up the arse and to get going again, still only 23!)
 
A little known and publicised fact for everyone our porcine neighbours have now only won one of their last eight games yet all is apparently well in S6.

That is what a Blade tried to say on Radio Pig ,he wasn't saying we were better than them ,he just offered a view that each club had different outlooks despite us having more points and scoring more goals. But he was disgustingly laughed at and ridiculed by the presenters and 2 so called Blades. I doubt they were Blades at all but they were given a 10 minute spot to discuss how shit Utd were and how they hope the pigs go up this season or next. No real Blade would say that ,and some muppet starts a thread on here praising them. Havent we got enough with pigs taking the piss without our own ( or supposedly our own)

Metal....you make a good point. However, as someone who has to work with some of our porcine neighbours I would point out......

1. When have they ever let facts get in the way?
2. Whatever the reality of their recent results, they ARE spending a lot of money and signing decent players
3. They are going in the right direction (for the moment)

Can we say the same??????

Agree. Football Heaven is really a pig-fest at the moment. While I remain deeply concerned about United's future, I'd never go on Radio Shit to supply ammo to the pigs. One 'Unitedite' even said he didn't believe to 18k attendance figure on Sunday and said that 'they must have included all season ticket holders.' So fucking what? The pigs are renowned for lying about their crowds with freebies/quid a pig etc.

One of the 'presenters' actually suggested the pigs get Ulloa from Leicester as 'he's not figuring at the moment' (well, not since he played against Chelsea on Monday:rolleyes:). But here's the thing. Given that getting to the PL is (said to be) worth around £150m and the pigs are (said to be) rolling in money, why not? Why don't they go for a game-changer like Charlie Austin? After all, Watford are hoping to loan Roma's £15m rated Juan Iturbe. Or is it all - like the talk in summer of them getting players like Rhodes, Wickham etc. - all bullsit to con their idiot fans into paying daft admission prices?

Martin the ClayCrossBlade was one of them dissing the Blades,i always liked listening to him,but summat has happened to him,he has an axe to grind with McCabe it seems,and he says on another Blades forum he has not renewed his season ticket for the last 3 seasons after being a long time season ticket holder,says he will not give another £ to McCabe for him to blow back up his ar$e,but i am sure he said he went on Sunday (could be wrong) pound coins up the ar$e could be fun explaining that in A&E.

Personally I couldn't give a shiny shite what those S6 cunts do, so long as it is badly.

I'm presently reconciled that we are in a down period where our bad is worse than theirs, and simply hope that things will turn around soon. But as far as United are concerned, this season being successful is a hope rather than an expectation. That said, there should be enough experience and talent to get us in the play offs, and from there we can roll the dice again and see if we can finally get some luck. Hopefully the penny has dropped and they know they can't play their way out of the division, they'll have to fight for it.

It's an interesting fact (to me anyway) that Wednesday currently hold the record for the longest time a Sheffield club has been out of the top division - 16 years and counting. Previous bests were our 14 years (1976-90) and their 14 years (1970-84). Mind you, we may well beat that in 2024....
 
I was at Stadium MK last night due to a corporate hospitality invite. On the evidence of that game I can't see what the pigs have been getting excited about they were genuinely shit.

MK Dons played very well though in fairness.

That's Trig Jnr (TY)'s tactic too, always bets against us when it's something major eg v Hull at Wembley or a play off final.

If we win (not that it's happened), he's happy to lose his stake, if we lose, he's got a few quid in his pocket :-)
