Apparently Birmingham are in talks but it's still the early stages and a long way from a done deal.
A few Blues fans fans rang us saying how it's shocking timing because their little known current manager is doing a really good job, in general they weren't enthused about the idea of bringing in Rooney, think he's no better than the current manager.
but as expected new owners, with ambition, like to imply a sexy name, so they weren't surprised that they've gone for someone like a Rooney.

I mentioned the other day how "profile" is massively important to any business.
I predicted that if we acquire new owners they will instantly want to sack our current manager and bring in there man as a new beginning.
If we're close to being taken over then the Prince might just allow things to fail by keeping Hecky.
Then the new owners arrive like a knight in shining armour, sack Hecky and bring in some like Hassenhuttle or even better.

Could Wayne Rooney get a tune out of our team?
Seemed to do reasonably well at Derby, different league I know.

Not followed DC United so not sure how his overall mangerial perfomance measures up and see he has parted company with DC missing out on a play off spot.

What tactics does he employ and how inspirational can he be?

Not advocating him,merely wondering .👍
Failed to make the play offs in the monkey tennis standard that MLS is.

No thank you….

Gotta feel sorry for Eustace, Brum were certainly improving.
Benjamin Bloom did an analysis worth watching.
The whole game's gone fucking mental and diminishes my enjoyment. So much conjecture and controversy.
Keeps us busy here mind👍

If only

Sure Rooney could do a job providing
1. There’s an ample supply of grannies at the lane .
2. We can afford a loud electrical appliance to be running all day while he kips in the manager’s office ( after shagging multiple grannies )

No.

Gone to Plymouth. 🤣

Rooney has the money and doesn't need the hassle of management, so it does show he must still committed to succeeding.
His stock as a manager has taken a kicking and now don't think many Championship clubs would take the risk on him.

Think it's an interesting appointment.
He had a nightmare time at Birmingham, so surely he's got to come good at some point.
Can understand why a small medium sized club like Plymouth would want him. This appointment massively raises their profile giving them massive media attention, which for them is a massive novelty, so the media attention will be a positive.

It's a bit like when Messi joined the MLS, even if Messi was average on the pitch, it's still worth paying Messi millions
because he brings with him multiple millions of fans, so now the MLS is on the map and receives world wide attention.

Same with Plymouth, next season you can bet the national media will refer to them as "Wayne Rooney's Plymouth Argyle".
Plymouth were one the worse teams last season, almost relegated and now they have a manager with a really poor record. What could go wrong?

Can we get Plymouth at home for the opener, it'll be nice to see how bad he is as a manager in person before he's inevitably sacked.

I'm no oil painting, but fuck me how is he under 40?!

He looks about 73. Always think of this when I see him on TV1000023112.jpg

He can only be saying he will have the pick of the Man Utd loans.

However the location of Plymouth will be tricky and the funding I would imagine be the same. He should have waited for a team in Lancashire and then just abused the loan market with Man Utd and done well and built a career.
