Best manager of my lifetime, best defence of my lifetime in the pistons plus Enda and George. A team packed players who will surely get international recognition in the near future and could play on the European stage next season. Attacking, irrepressible football founded on defensive solidity and Sheffield steel. Pundits, the media, the international press all confounded as to how we are doing it. 
Huge upside to young players like McBurnie, O’Connoll continuing blossom into a top, top English centre half. Squad players bursting at the seams to get into the team and prove themselves. Seasoned players like McGoldrick and Norwood performing like they always belonged at PL level. The sheer joy of watching them play. Watching them understand the DNA of this club. The bond built over Egan’s song, Basham arriving and moments like Northampton away.
A squad wholly committed and giving their all for a novel and inventive tactical system admired across the globe. Ownership who seemingly (finally) GET Sheffield United, get decisions right and recognise our fabulous early history. Ground improvements on the cards, safe standing for example, with the potential to preserve and enhance our special atmosphere at The Lane which is beyond compare.
