Sometimes teams need a kick up the backside. I wonder if last night's shock with John Fleck's collapse will galvanise the players. For once, we looked solid defending the advantage and in terms of game management. It's like we've been sleepwalking through games for a long while. There were signs last night that were positive. If we can build on it, there's still hope.

I hope so, they definitely showed bollocks for putting up that kind of solid display after that happened and need credit for that.

The result was insignificant, but I fully expected Reading to score in the last half hour.

It will be interesting to see how Slav reorganises the midfield without Fleck. Berge appears to be back in contention, but is he the answer?

There are Freeman and Osborn who play in Fleck’s position, so no need to reorganise just replace.
This assumes that Fleck is not available.

We aren't forced to reorganize, but we might consider doing so, given what we're doing's not really working right now.

I can't see Berge being the answer, but something's got to change. Might as well get him in the shop window.

If Fleck‘s health is affected by this and out for a long time. This could be the catalyst that forces the Prince’s hand - and gives Slav the midfielder he wants - and now needs.

I'd be very shocked to see Fleck involved at the weekend or at least for the next few until they've ascertained what's exactly the matter with him.

I was expecting Osborn to come on and replace him but Hourihane came on instead so that might be the way Slav's thinking based simply on the fact that we don't have many other options, even though Hourihane's as weak as piss and if we weren't so short on bodies can go back to Villa for me.

Or he could just bring back Coulibaly who seems lost right now.

and houlihane. I thought he looked probably more comfortable when he came on in flecks place last night

It would have to be during the JTW. Is he out longer than mid Jan?
Don't know, Purple Rain mentioned it, after I commented Coulibaly and Seriki were not named in their last match day squad, PR also confirmed Seriki has been sent back to tge Lane a couple of weeks ago, and as someone else then mentioned he will still be 'registered ' at Beerschot till January
