What about that today then boys and girls?
A simply sublime exibition which has totally blown our recent performances to bits and had echoes of how well we played last season.
I'll be honest, I didn't want that game to end today,we were playing that good. Normally, i'd err on the side of caution and not get so carried away but fuck it, i'm gonna enjoy my weekend after what I saw this afternoon which was topped off by one of the finest team goals i've ever seen at The Lane.
Twenty odd passes, a pinpoint cross and a beautifully headed goal by Porter, simply magical. There wasn't a weak player for us today as we totally swept aside a team who many believe are genuine play-off contenders.
Miller was marvellous and showed why most Blades have been calling for him to be included in the starting line up. Westlake looked very steady at right back and the midfield ran the show for once, great work boys. We looked dangerous every time we attacked and had Harry's effort from two miles out gone in instead of hitting the bar, I think the Kop roof would have lifted off.
More of the same from now on please Danny, lets grab the league by the throat and win the sodding thing.

Genuinely don't think anyone had a bad game today. Collins was beaten too easily by Haber a couple of times and conceding straight from a corner is never great but that's about it.

Lovely patient build-ups, quality balls into the box, sharp finishing and solid at the back. Marvelous.
 



Excellent today (apart from the woeful marking for their goal). Good in possession and the work rate in closing them down was outstanding. We worked harder and were more positive than in recent games. We need to do this every game - home and away. UTB
 
The woman behind me kept groaning at 4-1 every time we looked like scoring. Then I realised she'd bet on a 4-1 win! Whatever possessed her :)
 
Can't remember ever having to wait for the officials to come out in a second half! A bit bizarre

Great to see so many smiles coming out of the ground, and chuffed to bits that we can play like we did for much of last year. A really fine team performance with control, quality, and width (well done Flynn). Oh yes, and finishes. McD back in form, supported ably by Doyle's best game in ages (one woeful crossfield effort aside). Work rate was top notch, and we pressed the oppo like most visiting teams have done us. Things clicked, and Stevenage were bobbins. Whichever mattered most, I'm not really bothered. I thoroughly enjoyed the game. Well done Blades, I reckon Harry's saving one a couple of inches lower for when we're 0.0!. And I also reckon whoever does the BBC stats (Stevenage 53% possession!? was having an off day)..More of the same Tuesday please..UTB

Snaffled from Bayern Munich (who used it first I think) it is sweeping round the grounds much like Tom Hark did.



Although I like the White Stripes so long may it stay even if its become common.
